What was up with that? Saw Stokar in for for Carey, then I saw Vernon replace D-Mac at LT.

Was there an injury?

I believe that Stockar will be starting at RT and Vernon will be moving back to LT. So, to answer you question, I believe, that DMac did loose his spot. This is just my opinion but we will see. It sounded like Saban like what he saw from Stockar saying something like "we knew he was a starter and we liked what we saw from him in pratice so we gave him a chance to play today", in the post game confrence. No injury BTW.

They said Saban rotated them (D-Mac to Carey's spot) because D-Mac was getting killed by Abrahams(?). Carey didn't do much better.

D-mac sucks I don't know why we kept him.

All I know is that these guys on the line better get their act together or Peppers will destroy Frerotte.

Exactly what I'm afraid of.

Frerotte has been playing quite well IMO. Nothing spectacular, but definately well enough to win games. We need to keep him protected.

I said before the year started that it will take till week 8 or 9 for the line to hit there strid. Hopfully sooner, its only game 2 and we are already better than last year arnt we?

I watched the panthers tear the patriots apart on defense and offense, and couldn't help getting worried about next week. I hope they burned themselves out and aren't that hard on us.

Actually, I thought Carey did pretty well. He had help at times. What I liked was that he moved up and smacked abrahams and really slowed him down.

You saw the same game I did. It seemed like Carey thwarted Abraham's attempts and effectively shut him down...whereas D-Mac had trouble all day long.

Where are the D-Mac fans out there?? Those who were saying that he was better than Carey.... ;)

I'd like to see us use:

LT -- McIntosh
LG -- James
C -- Hadnot
RG -- Carey
RT -- McDougle

ok... so I missed what happened with Carey and the rest of the line... too much beer... so what happened? what quarter was this switch made? How did Carey do on both sides? Did Carey do well against Abraham? How did Stockar do once back on the line? Thanks...

3rd or 4th...........Carey did well on both sides, had help but still did well........He pretty much stoped Abraham except for a few occasions..........Stockar did pretty well, he had one penalty but did pretty good once he came in. I believe that Carey will start at LT and Stockar at RT next week.
