Im pasting part of the article, link for the rest of article is at the bottom

...The date of Ricky Williams one year anniversary of his twelve month suspension is April 27th. This date happens to be the day before this years draft. Technically, day one of Ricky’s reinstatement would be on day 1 of the draft(Apr 28th) from what I am reading. So the Dolphins could have walked into their draft war room this coming Saturday with Ricky Williams an active RB on the roster. Another deadly bullet to use to wheel and deal on this upcoming weekend denied by Goodell.

I don't really think there's any question that Ricky will be reinstated. I also don't think the fins are basing any of their draft decisions based on whether or not Ricky is here (a good idea imo).

Not on purpose.

You have a good point here. If we are planning on keeping Ricky, it would be nice to know our running back situation before the draft. If he will be here or if we use a pick on another RB.

If we don't plan on keeping Ricky it really doesn't matter.

can anyone help? i live in the UK and cant watch the draft! anyone know where i could watch it live online?

From my understanding, Goodell NOW has 60 days to decide the fate of Ricky Williams. If I were Goodell, I'd use the full 60 days to make a decision. Yes, that might hurt the Dolphins right now, but it's not Goodells fault that Ricky screwed up again. I love the fact that Goodell is coming down hard on players.

Ricky was already punished by being suspended thus not getting paid, why should he have to wait 60 more days.

Because the commish has the right to. Why should the commish do Ricky or the Fins any favors? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Ricky back.

because thats what the rules say.
The league (and commish) are under no obligation to even look at Ricky's application for reinstatement until Ricky is actually eligible to be reinstated. Of course that coincides with the Draft, so everybody is going to be pretty busy. Why should they take time away from pressing issues which can't be put off in order to review a situation which by rule, can?

They will get to it when they get to it.

Try www.espn.com

or www.NFL.com

on NFLs website, try to locate the NFL NETWORK
I would not be suprised to see them offer the chance to watch or listen to it at the very least.

after the draft maybe try Itunes, they might put out some kinda review you can watch/listen.

Finally just GOOGLE "Watch NFL Draft"
or "LIsten to NFL Draft"
good luck friend

y'all keep in mind that once upon a time, the league bent over backwards to "unretire" Ricky and he blew them off.... I cannot think of any reason why the officials should do anything "special" in his behalf.
