Or has Saban not been asked about the timeout he called with 15 seconds left in the half?

Please, someone, tell me there was an answer from the coach regarding one of the few dark marks in Sunday's win.

That wasn't a dark mark. He was calling time out with 23 seconds left but the ref didn't recognize him until 15 seconds left. It was 4th & inches at the 44. With another TO remaining he was trying to get into field goal position.

And it ended up not making any difference so Saban let the ref live...:shout:

did anyone see him mouth out the "F"word? i was yelling at the tv because Saban was like "TIME-OUT! F**K!".

It was a rather smart timeout if the refs were paying attention.

Precisely, however, there was another gaffe by the coaching staff that I'd like to mention.

No..No...No, wait, I can't recall even one, frankly, and I've had 24 hrs to think about it. You know, I can't even recollect the last Miami game I watched that didn't result in my having atleast a page of complaints/questions regarding decisions mad by them during the game that I'd like to see the Coaching Staff address. Saban had a sparkling Debut. The days of getting outprepared and outcoached are over. Period.

My only complaint is that he never challenged any plays, the Chambers fumble for instance. It clearly was not a fumble. (in my eyes anyways LOL) I know it didn't really matter in the long run since we just OWNED Denver the rest of the day, but at the time that was potentially a big turnover that could have given Denver the momentum they needed.

yeah he should have challenged that fumble, and then there was another play i think he should have challenged i cant remember it right now... but that was my only questionable move by saban, but in the end it worked out...

The chambers fumble was indeed a fumble. I am so lukewarm on him right now man. He's got so much talent, but seems to lose his focus in the game. I also think he stepped out of bounds on that run, despite being escorted by a convoy of dolphin blockers and 1 bronco defender tops, and he cost us 4 points. But that was a great run nevertheless, and an even better play call. I know chambers will be in midseason form soon. Saban wont allow constant mistakes from the same person.
