I mean if you think about it who did they beat? People will say well they played USC good, well so did Fresno St. does that mean Fresno should be playin in the Sugar Bowl?

This is exactly what starts so much sh*t with the BCS system, because a team loses and suddenly everyone asks "did they deserve it?" or "what if?". The only way to solve this is a playoff system, the top 8 BCS teams have a playoff. Currently I don't have a prob with the BCS, it got my Longhorns playing for a title, lol, but I DO get annoyed that EVERY year this stuff happens after the bowl games, so make a damn playoff already and take away 98% of the gripes.

Yes I agree with you

But before hand I was shaky to let Notre Dame in the BCS I mean who exactly did they beat, I mean if it was the Michigan of old, mayb they would have somehting to talk about.

Makes me more suspious that the NCAA and the BCS was so fast and happy to send their special darlings (Notre Dame) to a BCS game
 
Well, they did beat the powerhouse that is Pitt led by the mighty Dave Wannstedt:sidelol:
But seriously, all ND needs to do is sniff the top 15 and they'll get a BCS bid.

And yes, there needs to be a playoff.
 
Oregon should be in there instead of Notre Dame. They had the higher BCS ranking. If they blew the second half of the USC game. They beat Fresno st., Arizona st. when they were ranked.

....then lost to unrakned Oklahoma :D
 
Notre Dame got exposed, they got the beat down by a better team, just like they did when good teams faced them in the regular season.
 
IF OSU would have started Troy Smith vs Texas it would be OSU vs USC and a victory for the BUCKEYES!!!

your offense didnt let you down that game your defense did, you cant really argue that because a scrambleing QB plays into Texas's hand due to team speed not to mention as much as I hate to say it I dont think Ohio State is better than USC

wrong. the defense played well. the offense lost the game. the turnovers at the end of the game while rotating QBs was stupid. had troy smith started the game it wouldn't have even been close
