Did O or D Cost Miami The Playoffs in 2014?

Defense. We had none at the end of the year. Offense had its part in it by not being able to finsih drives with tds. Mostly we just couldn't stop the run or anyone really when it counted.
 
I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure this out. The defensive collapses in a couple of games cost us a playoff spot. While the offense kept bringing us back to where we should have won a couple of games.
 
A honorable mention to our Special Teams unit...

Philbin cost us the playoffs...plain and simple...Detroit...GB....those two games are on him...
 
The offense wasn't the main reason we didn't make the playoffs ..... And that was with injury to our best and most important player on the line (Albert).

Says a lot about #17.... I'm excited about his graph chart right now ... Pointing straight up year after year ......
 
I would say a little of both but mostly if anything it was bad coaching not just by Philbin but also by DC kevin Coyle.
 
I agree its a combo of both because early in year defense was strength of team
 
Trick question. The correct answer is Joe Philbin.
 
I would say that the whole unit has fault.. BUT giving up an average of 32 pts the final 6 games is what did the fins in... That and there total lack of stopping the run those final games as well.. If the fins played D like the did the first half of the season we would have been in the playoffs..:crazy:
 
Defense.. We had no leader on defense last year. Hopefully suh is our difference maker this year
