I dont ever bash any of our players and I know its all a coinendence. Has anybody realized that we made the playoffs from 1997-2001 Then in 2002 came Ricky and we have not seen the playoffs since. I hope this streak ends this season!

Another way to look at it is we gave away to many draft picks in those years to build a great team.

Nah!! 2002 and 2003 can be attributed to terrible backup QB play and they were replacing a QB who many Dolphins fans feel was not very good.

The Dolphins struggles over the recent years have much more to do with bad drafting, bad trades, and bad FA decisions.

Nah, I disagree with the last few posters. Ricky rushing for over 1,800 yds in 2002 and breaking Dolphins rushing records like it was a joke definately.. DEFINITELY jinxed us.

Terrible assumption...Ricky ran for 1800+ yards...that's not bringing a team back luck...if anything he was the only bright spot on offense.

Here's a fact: Since his arrival in Miami, the Dolphins record is better when Ricky plays than when he doesn't. Coincidence? I think not.

Bad luck? I always love these negative superstitions. Does that mean if one player can be bad luck another can be good luck? If so let's not draft or trade based on talent or position, lets see who the lucky players are and go get them!

No, since in life, the old truism is that we largely create our own "luck."

So if anyone, it would have been Spielstedt that brought us bad luck

True 'dat:

Record with RW in the lineup: 31-22 (0.705)
Record without RW: 13-39 (0.250)

he isnt blaming ricky he was just saying that we had bad luck ever since we got him and i agree.its like when the yankees got arod who is jacking homers every other night gave the yanks bad luck.no 1 is saying its rickys or arods fault he was just saying we had bad luck and we did. i blame mostly the coaching staff and personell but ricky symbolizes that era.

Love the poster. I'll have nightmares but I loved it.
