Hey guys, I missed the game today because I had a prior commitment, but after seeing on tv we were down 21 I was AMAZED to see we wound up winning. It sounds like Sage was really good. My question is for the people who actually saw Sage's performance: Did he show any signs of being a possible starter for us next year?
I ask optomistically because frankly I can't wait to draft or sign another Qb, but was wondering what you guys who saw the game thought.

Not unless we can live in the hurry-up for all game, every game. I think Saban thinks that too.

You have to wonder thou....all game the Bills defense killed our offensive line...Gus gets knocked crazy...and with Sage they play like Champs....whats with that? Where they trying to send a message?

yeah they were sending a message that they hate Gus and love Sage and they were willing to look like idiots for 3 quarters in order to get Sage in there in which they had no doubt that Sage would save the day in the name of DAN MARINO!

I dont see why we couldnt run most of our plays out of the hurry up. Works for INDY.

You have to admit the O-line looked like it was playing two different games...even when the Bills tried to put pressure on Sage late in the game...the O-line blocked a whole lot better than it did for Gus. Chambers couldn't catch a cold all game with Gus....with Sage he plays all world.

I remember a bills team that ran an offense called the kgun! it used to kill us!lol would be nice if we could use it against them like they did to us in the old days...if the defense keeps putting us in a hole like that it will have to be our offense...lol

Indy also has Peyton Manning, Edgerrin James, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Brandon Stoakley and Dallas Clark. We don't.

I DID notice Chambers' stats were amazing. Maybe Sage's touch that he put on the ball was more suited to Chambers' hands of brick.

I was wondering that same thing. Even the announcers mentioned that once Sage got in there, all of a sudden the blitz's were being picked up.

I really believe that seeing Gus get knocked out like that.....and it being their fault.....is what did it. I think every one of them took responsibility and got their **** together after that play. Sucks that a guy had to get seriously hurt for it to happen.

"The answer" would paly several good games in a row, but I do have to give a ton of props to Sage. This guy really took command, found open recievers, and most importantly hit the open ones. He showed why some of us had faith in him for all these years, he has a hell of an arm on those deep balls and its a shame you won't see a replay of the ball he threw to Chambers to get us in Bills territory after that last drive.
