Did we get away with a touchdown against the bills?

I was just watching the bills game for about the 30th time and i noticed it looked like ronnie lost the ball when he was reaching for the goal line on the 2nd TD of the rally. I tivoed it and you can clearly see the ball is coming out of his hand at the 2-1. The ball then went out of the bounds in the endzone which should of been a touchback. Keep in mind buffalo couldn't challenge anyway as they had no timeouts. Was anyone else aware of this?
 
Not sure which game you have on Tivo. I have watched that comeback a half dozen times and there is no movement of that ball whatsoever! He touched the ball on the ground in the endzone so how could he have lost it? Announcers would have mentioned it. I will watch it again when I get home
 
shut up, you guys always have to ***** about something. Since we won this week cant we just be happy, god dammit. Ronnie needs to stop holding the ball out waa waa waaa, cry about it for gods sake we WON we should be happy.
 
I thought it touched the pylon before it came out of his hand.

Hope you aren't telling me to shut-up because I said nothing! "You guys" has me leaning towards the fact you were including me and that would not be a good thing!

Considering that we won and it's two games later, yes, if you're right, we got away with it.

Just look at that play, it's a thing of beauty. I know this isn't the great view but I watch the play a few times and it looked like a TD to me.

Are the ref from the Chargers game? :D Just ribbing you.

I don't recall the details of that play exactly (and I didn't record it, I just remember what happened live). But, I do recall thinking that Buffalo couldn't challenge it.

You've been here a while, so I would hope that I wouldn't have to caution you against telling other members to "shut up," should I also mention that another rude remark like that could get you some time off? :rolleyes:
 
Well, if it was a questionable call that went in our favor, then that's fine with me, after Ronnie's "fumble" in the first Buffalo game.
 
Who cares???? Calls come out in the wash. I was almost pissed over the officiating in the Chargers game but I always tell myself, if you're in a position to let the officials decide whether you win or lose, you're not that good anyway. Crying over bad calls is too much effort.

As others have said, it's a moot point at this time. HOWEVER, I agree with you 100%. I haven't seen it up close in a while but I remember thinking, "Oh shiot. That could be a touchback". Good thing Buffalo didn't have any challenges remaining or else it's possible we lose that TD and any hopes of playoffs. Fortunately, they didn't and we won. Woo hoooo.
 
hey, i am not trashing ronnie. He is one of my favorite players. i am very glad we won. After watching it in slow motion i am pretty sure it should of been a touchback, but it is close. I'm just happy a call went our way, i am not complaining. I just thought it would something others would like to know because i haven't heard anyone mention it. On billszone, or fh, or in the media
