Did we get bamboozled???

Is it just me or does anyone else feel as if we have absolutely no chance of signing any free agents worth a salt.

Someone please tell me that im dreaming, tell me that we didn't go from being 8 million over the cap to 21 million, tell me without using the excuse that the 8 million was based on a new CBA........

Tell me that bringing in TO, and speaking with Culpepper, and Mcnair, and Bree's weren't all just a bunch of smoke and mirrors to cover up the fact that Miami 0 chance of signing, well, anyone?

Tell me that it doesn't appear that we are going to have to pretty much build our team on Draft picks and castaway lo priced free agents??

Tell me how were going to improve when were going to now drop our other Defensive end, oh and by the way, doing this just to get under the cap.....

Where are we spending our money?????????????????

Then after you tell me the answers to all the above questions, explain to me how we will somehow after all is said and done, after we cut everyone on our team that has any skill, (regardless of whether you and I like them or not) and were somehow going to improve next year??????

I'm really upset, we haven't even gotten under the cap yet and were still chopping players, we might be stuck with PATRICK RAMSEY at QB,,,,,, are you kidding me, and exactly how do we plan on improving our offensive line when we have to draft an entire starting core of DB's and saftey's and now a defensive end.

Not good, I'm not happy and now i know why we wanted to trade ricky cause were going to need to start 10 rookies next year.

God I can't wait till 2007 cause im telling you I will be SHOCKED if were better than 8-8 next year.

Agreed...I dont think we'll have much money left to deal with but we never seem to and still get big name free agents.....as I'm sure you can see that more cuts are coming..Hang in there we always get a big name or two.

Our cap problems ths year are the least of our problems, man. If theres no CBA, the NFL as we know it will deteriorate much like Major League Baseball.

This years cap is the only tip of the iceburg if they dont cut a deal.

I will bet, if they don't get the CBA signed today, the players will make big time concessions because there will be so many big name guys without jobs.

But seriously, I feel better now that I got all that off my chest.....However in leiu of recent news regarding our situtation with the cap I've decided to dedicate the next 3 months of this year at getting back into shape and flying down to davie to tryout for starting QB of the dolphins next year.

Laugh if you want, but I was the best 5th quarter QB at my high school.

There isnt 1 single player that we have cut to make us worse then last year...Trust me when FA and the draft and some restructures we will be in fine shape...As of right now we have only 1 guy from the offense gone and he wasnt no stepping stone.

You know, Finheaven has a cap page/forum that details this stuff. Why don't you go there and look at it instead of whining??

Man i don't disagree with you, but do you realize that by cutting those guys were still not under the cap, and you need at least 4 million in space for the draft alone.

All I was saying was that all the talk on this site of getting

Hutchinson, Bently, Brees, Mcnair, was ridiculous, we are still cutting players so that we can get under the cap so we can PARTICIPATE in the draft.

Then you look at the fact that were leaning heavily on the thought of trading 1 of our picks to get Patrick Ramsey.

That means we will have a 1st round pick, 2nd, 3rd, and 3 7th round picks. exactly how do you replace your starting Safety, 1 linebacker, 1 starting lineman on offense and defense, and multiple corners?????? assuming you pay ramsey decent money.

The dreams of landing big name free agents died, unless of course the CBA is approved by 10:00 p.m. tonight, then i guess i will just have to eat my words, and be humble about it.
