Wasn't sure if this deserved its own thread or not, but heres this blurb from rotoworld:

---

The Miami Herald expects the Dolphins to place Dion Jordan on the trade block.

Jordan was a no-show for the start of offseason workouts, leading some to question his commitment to the team. In two years since Miami took him third overall, Jordan has been suspended twice and failed to establish a meaningful role on defense. The Dolphins have no choice but to stay the course with Jordan at this point. Miami would lose $1 million in cap space by trading Jordan.

_______________

If we can even get a third for him, that would be great but who knows his value and if anyone even wants him. A cap hit of only $1 million is great! I tried to search around for the actual article to see who speculated this but couldn't find much, my guess is Armando though. so take it for what its worth

is this all basically speculation still... or official announcements???

though it seems most likely it is all true for some reasonings

Just ****mando having another fever dream after eating too much fried food too close to bedtime.

Could Eagles be interested in Dion Jordan? At right price, absolutely

April 25, 2015

By Nick Fierro Of The Morning Call

If price is right, #Eagles would be wise to trade for Jordan.

News of Dion Jordan skipping the Miami Dolphins' offseason workouts only adds fuel to the fire that his days with the team are numbered.

The Dolphins two years ago traded up to jump ahead of the Eagles in the NFL Draft to snag the former University of Oregon defensive end/outside linebacker in the first round.

Given Kelly's uncommonly bond with the players he coached at Oregon before coming to the Eagles in 2013 and the fact that Jordan seems more of a fit as an outside linebacker in the Eagles' 3-4 than a 'tweener in the Dolphins' 4-3, you can't help but wonder if Kelly, who has drastically shaken up the roster this offseason, might not be trying to add Jordan too.

What would probably make the most sense is to package cornerback Brandon Boykin, who will only ever start on the outside for the Eagles in an emergency due to his height (5-9) not meeting Kelly's minimim requirements for the position, in a trade.

Boykin may be short, but he came through with six interceptions and two forced fumbles as a slot corner in 2013. That's way more production in one season than Jordan (3.0 sacks) has given the Dolphins in two.

If the price is right, don't be surprised if we hear something soon. The market could keep growing more favorable for the Eagles each day too.

Jordan could really benefit from a change of scenery. Boykin too. If it comes down to the Eagles having to add a mid- or late-round pick to get done, it's something they need to seriously consider.

I would do Jordan for Boykin at this point. it helps both needs for the team. give us a pick also and I would pay for the damn flight....well i wont but you know i would call it a slam dunk
