There's always another speed bump. If this kid flashes any potential at this point, I'll be surprised. Out of football for basically 2 years. Game changes a little. Id be so pumped if he succeeds.

I expect absolutely nothing from this guy. I don't think he'll play another snap for us. I think he's one of the biggest busts in team history.
But I'm pulling for him and I hope he somehow pulls it off and comes back to be productive with his head on straight.

Although he isn't able to practice with the injury, I guess its a good sign he completed all the necessary steps to be eligible to practice. I remember the coaches saying he still had a bunch of steps to take in order to get to where he is. I suppose its something... expectations being super low, ya know?
I would do with him what we should have done with him from the start, put him on PUP. Give him 6 more weeks after preseason to fully focus on getting into game shape, learn the playbook, watch the vets do what they do, and make McCain and Fede show what they have for 6 weeks before making a decision. Then going into when playoffs are on the line, we get Dion at optimum value, ready to wreak havoc .
