Will he be the biggest receiver of what SUH will bring to this defense? If SUH commands the double possibly Triple teamed effort , will this open up lanes for speedy Dion Jordon and finally have him show some potential ?

Wake will also be a handful but I think Jordon finally shows his skills this season.

No. He's not a good player.

He's a good player, as a 3-4 OLB.

In other words, Dion Jordan should be traded to a team like the Eagles (3-4 defense, and his old Oregon coach Chip Kelly)

On a 4-3 defense (Miami Dolphins), he's just wasting space.

He makes a couple of good plays every year, but completely disappears otherwise. He reminds me very much of Ted Ginn on defense!

everyone keeps saying he would be good in a 3-4 I haven't seen any indications he would be good at any position jmo

i have always been big on guys like this, aaron maybin, mingo, gholston etc. and they always seem to be busts. I think I like them because I was such a huge fan of Jason Taylor and these tall fast guys reminded me of him. I really think a lot of them are caught between 2 positions and they can never figure it out. As much as I think Jordan is a freak, i think he will be one of those guys who never gets it. I hope I am wrong but I think I have lost hope with him, and it is not all him, I think the coaching staff does not know how to use the guy. We will see this season because he should get some decent playing time

Yep, I think this is based more on wishful think because of his attributes more than it is what he has put on the field.

I'm interested to see if Dion Jordan is a lost cause or not this season. The suspension last year seemed to destroy his development (I wonder if some of the bad weight was put on when he wasn't allowed to be with the team). I was intrigued by his athleticism as a rookie, but that virtually disappeared last year. At this point it seems equally likely that he'll get suspended again than it is he begins to emerge as a good player.

I agree with a lot of the sentiment here on Dion . However with the addition of SUH I agree with Stevy13.........Jordon will have an exceptional year on his coat tails. Wake will also benefit , but he already was a pro Bowler. Jordon will gain the most from the addition of SUH.
Joenes as well. I'd like to see more of McCain also. He was making plays early in pre season. This is really an exciting time for us!!!

I don't know how anyone can draw any conclusions about him. His rookie yr was almost a redshirt yr after recovering from labrum surgery and last yr he miseed valuable time due to the PED suspension.
I will reserve judgement after he has had a full TC and regular season.
I'm not so quick to want to trade away a young player for next to nothing.
Amazes me how definitive some of these negative opinions are.
