Hey a quick question for everyone.

I live in the NJ area and the game is being aired on CBS at 1. However the Jets game starts at 4. I dont want to watch on CBS because Im worried it will be a close game in the 4th quarter and they will cut away for the lame jets.

My friend has DirecTV, but when a game is shown on CBS DirecTV blacks it out on their Sunday ticket channels. here's my question...

If the game is blacked out on Sunday ticket, but is taken off CBS in the 4th quarter to cut away to another game will it be put back on the Sunday ticket channel?
 
Thats a good question, I have no idea how they would handle it. I have the package also and would be extremely pd off if they switched to the Jets and didn't finish the end of the fins-bucs game. Hopefully it will be a fin blow out and It would be less of a problem if they switched.

I doubt they will put it back on, thats a weird game for them to put on air in NJ in the first place.
 
I wouldn't worry about them cutting away from the dolphins game not after the Heidi incident.
 
i have the ticket and i believe it is put on DTV when the Jets game goes on ...... i'm on Statan Island it better go back on....lol hopefully we'll be so far ahead it won't matter

Not true. They did it earlier this season for the stinking jets. Forgot which teams were playing though. But it went like this:

the previous cbs 1pm game was blacked out for the 700 channels on directv but shown on cbs ch. 2 for the tri-state area. The jets started @ 4 or 4:15 and because of rules the first game reverted back to the original 700 channel.

I agree w/ you. It was the week that the Patriots were playing against the Steelers. CBS had a doubleheader and the Jets vs. Jags went into OT. They put the Steelers game on the Sunday Ticket channel until the Jets game finished.
