despite not having the game in HD last week, they will have it this week on 723.

good job.

The thing thats strange is that the game last week was at the meadowlands no less and still no HDTV?? Even on the local CBS affiliate it was std def.

I wish someone would explain how this works to me

It's not DTV that chooses it. It's the networks. CBS has 3 HDTV crews. Fox has 6.

Figure this one out, Green Bay and Cleveland got HD.

Miami and the Jets one of the biggest rivalry in football didn't.

Someone who makes these decisions must either love the packers or the browns

Ok, I hope this isn't a sign of things to come for those of us planning on watching the game in HD on DirecTV, but.....

the game was listed as being on channel 723, correct? Well, the guide info for all the games is always available at least a day in advance. When I go to my program guide, there is no channel 723. The Bucs and Packers are on 722, and then it skips to channel 724, where the Saints and Vikes will be.

Hopefully, this is just some error with the guide, and all will be well in the morning. For what it's worth, the listings on Direc's web site still show the Dolphins/Panthers on 723.

I don't know if any of you subscribed to the SuperFan package, but because of the problems they've had rolling that thing out, I got a letter from them yesterday announcing a $49 credit against next year's SuperFan package plus an offer for a free D10 interactive receiver.

I too got that letter, but I have the HD Tivo, and on the 2nd TV I have the regular Directivo. So I dont think I'll be taking advantage of that...

Wish they had another HD Tivo for free. Then I'd upgrade my other TV.
