If you buy the SuperFan package for $99 (or $49 if you are eligable for the deal) you are paying for

HD games
Game Mix (8 games at once)
Red Zone Channel
Shortcuts
and some other things.....etc

The Red Zone channel takes you from game to game when a team is about to score (hence in the red zone) or when a "great play happens". What DIRECTV FAILS TO TELL YOU.......they only do this with games on FOX!!!!!! CBS games won't be part of that deal.

Go to Ch 700 and read the fine print. They bait you in thinking you will just be taken from game to game on this channel, but they can only take you from FOX game to FOX game, they can't do it with CBS games.

It's not a big deal, but why hide the fact?? Why bury it in the fine print (oh and if you blink you will probably miss this little fact and not even see it in the fine print, but its there)

i hate Direct TV too... but i just got the Superfan just for the HD games... i wanted to see my phins in high def. to me, that is worth $50 for 16 games.

yeah, they should have called it "FOX Redzone Channel" That way there wouldnt have been any confusion. I think most people get the package for the HD though so I agree that the Redzone thing isnt that big a deal.

Why watch those channels? My TV will always be on the Dolphins channel. No other game matters when the Fins are playing.

Same here, unless at commercials. But then I'll probably be here at the computer this year.

THe NFL Ticket is way way to overpriced any ways. I looked into getting it and they are asking like 250 for it. If you break that down into sixteen games or more like 12-13 because most teams have some sort of primetime game or at least you'll get one televised game in your area at 4 oclock or something it is damn near 20 Dollars per game. You can go to the bar and have drinks and food for that much. I mean **** I can watch the game and eat and drink at the same price. Of course you dont get to sit at home but for the extras its worth the 5 minute drive

Wow, a certain poster crying again about something

No big deal, don't buy it then.

Uncalled for. :tsk:

And offbase to boot, since many people already bought it. That's why he's mad. Bait and switch.

Ok, who gets it for $49 and who gets charged $99. I havent signed up yet, but i'm going to.

Not all 16 games are in HD. Only about a third of the game are in HD. It's simply not worth it.

I would like to see them continue to replay all the games in their entirety all week.

Well regardless it beats being a college student in upstate New York and getting the Giants, Jets, and MAYBE a doubleheader on networks...if we're lucky!

So with just the Sunday ticket I don't get any HD games?

I called and the woman told me I would get all the games HD, then I called back and they said only with Superfan. What the **** is up?
