I thought since it's the off season this would be a good time to bring this up. If you remember he last few years missing games that were moved because of Hurricanes. I was wondering if anybody knew who we could petition about having to put games on Directv even if the games are moved. I heard there is a long time agreement that NFL games won't compete with High School and College games. So when they are moved to fridays and saturdays they won't be on TV. They should have to put them on because we paid to see them or we should get a prorated amount of money back for each game missed. Of course I would rather see the games!

This has been tried each of the last two years, and nothing worked. We just have to face that this rule is not going to be changing anytime soon and deal with it.

I wish I knew. I was beyond pissed about it. Two games over the past two seasons. The Tennessee game two seasons ago and the Kansas City game this past season were not shown live. On top of that, because games shown in your local viewing area are blacked out on the dish, I missed the end of one of the Dolphin games because my local station switched the Dolphin game it was showing to a different game because the score was not close.

If this happens again simply ask for free showtime. Definetely no consolation but compensation of sorts.

I am still pissed at the NFL and Sunday Ticket. :fire:

1) Because it has happened twice in two years.
2) Because they will pull the same BS when/if it happens again.

Here in Puerto Rico I watched the Kansas City game live.

whats sad is I remember 3 or 4 years ago when cards could be popped open you could watch pretty much any game at any time (illegaly) but when you pay for honest service you get screwed.

it really sucks

Believe me I called the NFL office, Direct TV. They can care less about the consumer. They wouldn't do anything about it. So hope there are no hurricanes this year.
