I've got a funny feeling that Thigpen is going to surprise us. But I am a certified homer who has been wrong many, many times in the past...
Ramsey is probably the best free agent out there, but I have to admit I was rooting for a tryout by Jeff George. It would have been comical to see a QB older than Favre on the sideline. And imagine if something happened to Thigpen, and George came in and lit up the place. Apparently he believes his arm is still on par with the best of the best, and I remember him announcing earlier this year that he would gladly take over in Minnesota if Favre had decided to remain retired.
