this was an incredibly pathetic loss.
as u pointed out, 2 ****ing rushing yds the entire game???????? 2!!!!!!!!!!! how the **** is that even ****ing possible in an nfl game.
our team is so undisciplined, that roughing the passer on wheeler when we were about to get ball back, how the **** do u commit a penalty there? it took another 2 plus minutes off clock.
our execution inside redzone was not so good. in the 2nd half, we have 3 great opportunities to get tds, and we settle for 2 fgs. i say settle because it seemed like the plays we ran on the 3rd downs looked like we were ok with a fg.
we could not ****ing stop the run. doug martin being out is a big enough break, but then mike james leaves early, and yet these 2 ****ing clowns run on us all night.
this team needs to make lots of changes quickly.
amazingly, and know i don't really want to talk playoffs after a disgustingly embarrassing loss, but at 4-5 we r only 1 game behind the jets for the 6th seed, and as we all know, we have 2 games upcoming with the jets.
tonight was pathetic though, and i was figuring there would be a very good chance we lose to Carolina, well now we don't have a ****ing choice, we need to win the next 2 at home.
so frustrating, because this is the weakest the afc has been in a while.
denver- awesome, but manning is getting really hit around lately, and although i do not hope he gets hurt because i like peyton and i would never wish injury upon any player let alone peyton, i am not sure if his body at that age can continue to take the hits he is getting and play. i know he will try, but not sure. hope he does,
kc- very very good defense, ( then again facing tuel, campbell, kenumn, pryor, whomever they faced,) but no offense really. one of the more beatable 9-0 teams in recent memory.
indy- team just has not looked the same since wayne went down. they still have luck and that defense is still solid, but the colts without wayne have taken a step back.
ne- brady had a great game vs pit, but overall this season, he has been pretty bad. they r also extremely banged up across the board, prob the most beatable pats team in years.
cin- prob one of the better teams, but then again, losing geno atkins there best player on defense, and we beat them already. they r not a dominant team in any way shape or form.
bottom line, even the top teams in the afc r pretty flawed, and i feel the afc playoffs is going to be extremely wide open this year. would not shock me if both wildcard teams were to advance in 1st round.
the problem is, in order to do damage in the playoffs u need to get in, and by the looks from tonight, this team does not belong anywhere near the postseason.
another opportunity thrown away.
