yeah thats what im saying. (might not have been clear). many of us here are are coming to grips with the fact the team isnt very good.

but then carter says the opposite. what i was saying is that i think he's being honest; that if the talent wasnt there, he would say so.

so in effect, carter is debunking what many on here feel

We are only 1/2 game out

All this talk about how Saban, Ronnie, Gus are busts. All this talk we arent good! Bottom line is we are only a half game out of 1st place. Yes, we arent playing well, but I thought 95% of you fans already agreed this isnt the year. Its a rebuilding new regime and now everyone is all of a sudden kicking the Dolphins? Geez, get real! There is still plenty of time the Jets and Pats are only 3-3 for Gods sake!

I'm not too worried. It seems the biggest problem with us is getting out units to gel. You look at the most successful units in the NFL (Colts Offense, Chiefs Offense, Patriots Defense, Ravens Defense*) they've been together a lot of years. Our guys are really just coming together and learning how to work with each other.

A champion team will always beat a team of champions.

* - The Ravens defense is in a period of visible turnover and it shows in how their performance ethic has depleted meticulously.
