Is this a yr like when we had Pennington that we win the division. The Patriots are very weak on defense, and yes they still have Brady. That said he is getting hit hard early in the season and that is the key to wearing him down. Gronk is a beast but is also hurt every other week. We have a very good defense ,special teams and might be the one team in the league that might benefit from our starting qb getting hurt. We are 2 games ahead of last yr when we made the playoffs, with a crazy schedule of games behind us. I just want Moore at QB

I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it in the cards for us this year. The Patriots always stumble early and are nearly unbeatable from game 7 onward. I think winning the division this year is outside of my hopes and expectations.

But, to me the most important thing Gase needs to prove is that he can consistently win 4 divisional games. That is needed to get into the playoffs consistently. So far, we're 0-1. Next week hosting the Jets, we need to raise that to 1-1, and then sweep the Bills. As the Bills have beaten the Broncos and Falcons, two pretty good teams, that's no easy feat.

Intriguing when you put it like that. We ride it out with Cutler, then in the doldrums of the season when he gets hurts, we are sitting pretty with a fresh Matt Moore.

Speaking of which, this does seem like the type of team that could get hot when the temperature drops (ironically) and the stakes are high - top shelf and improving defense, good bruising running game, steady kicker, and an air attack that, by default, can only get better.

So if the Giants finish off the Broncos there will be a three team tie for the two wild card spots: Broncos 3-2, Bills 3-2 and Dolphins 3-2. If the offense ever gets going Miami could be in the hunt come December.

Agree but it's a big "if" based on what it looks like thusfar. Need more production from the QB spot.

MUST MUST MUST beat the Jets next week at home. If Miami can find their way to 5-3 at the halfway they'll have a legit shot. Beat the struggling Jets and then steal one from either the up and down Ravens in Baltimore or the off sync raiders in Miami. A challenge but not impossible if you take care of business with the Jets.

Pats win the division. Always will. The Jets are better than expected but I see them finishing no better than 5-11. Buffalo is up and down but have a pretty good defense so that’ll keep them around.

No juggernauts are in this conference. Everyone is suspect in one way or the other. Miami is a loss back of the best record in the league. That’s huge considering their biggest win is 6 points and their offense is still very stagnant.

The offense is as close as the O-line geling into a consistent unit...which if it happens, combined with this rising defense...could easily equal a division title.

The Patriots are showing leaks in the ship....and it is far from a sure thing they are winning this division.

I’ll always believe NE wins it until they don’t. Look at yesterday’s game. Down 14-0 early, no doubt in my mind they’d come back and win. Low and behold they did.

Pats just win. Miami isn’t on that level.
