OK guys the boring time is almost over. But until then lets predict the division winners and wild cards for both conferences for the upcoming season.

Here are mine

AFC EAST/ NFC EAST
Pats / Philly
AFC NORTH/ NFC NORTH
Bungals / Viks
AFC SOUTH/ NFC SOUTH
Colts /Kitties
AFC WEST /NFC WEST
KC /Hawks
WILD CARDS/ WILD CARDS
Ravens /Falcons
Chargers /Lions

SB Carolina Kitties over KC (unless Peyton get homefield, then the colts go)

Yeah I know I didn't put pitt in the playoffs. They were not a 15-1 team last year and they will go 9-7 this year and finish 3rd in their division.

Buffalo instead of Pats;
Steelers over bengals;
Falcons over Panthers;

WC--Pats and Chargers;
Panthers and ?

SB Colts to beat Vikings

If everything goes as talent goes...
Pats, Ravens, Colts, Broncos
Eagles, Panthers, Vikings, Seahawks
wildcards: Steelers, Chargers, Falcons, Packers
Super Bowl: New England over Carolina in a two year old super bowl rematch

In a bizzaro world where new teams emerge and the old guard changes...
Dolphins, Jags, Bengals, Chiefs
Giants, Saints, Lions, Cardinals
wildcards: Bills, Texans, Bears, 49ers
Super Bowl: Dolphins over G-Men and the new dynasty starts! (sorry Leos, home teams don't make super bowls or I'd pick you)

BTW, why on earth do so many people keep going with the Colts every year? Have we not learned our defensive lessons over the years? Geez!

AFC:
Miami
Pittsburgh
Jacksonville
Kansas City
Cincinatti (WC)
Indianapolis (WC)

NFC:
Philadelphia
Detroit
Atlanta
Seattle
Tampa Bay (WC)
Dallas (WC)

Because it is a weak division and sooner or later the Colts D will rear its ugly head :)

Well I have them winning a division too consisting of the Jags (inexperienced), Texans (ditto) and Titans (rebuilding) which is kind of like the NFL's version of Conference USA this year. But that's where it ends. The Colts are all flash and dash and just aren't built to make that deep playoff push. And yes, they have reared their ugly head -- it's VERY UGLY on that side of the ball! :)

I just feel if they have home field advantage, that no one is gonna go in there and beat them. They are a totally different team in the dome. If they have to go on the road they will not survive, but if they can put up the best record then I think they will make it all the way.

That means they're going to have to win outside the dome at one point or another. I don't see it happening, particularly since the offense is bound to be inferior to last year.
