Dolphins offensive lineman Mark Dixon (ankle) missed practice Friday with soreness, Wannstedt said. He hasn't played this season and had a second surgery to his right ankle on Oct. 4.

what does this mean? he wasn't going to start anyway LOL. all i hear is "we held him out of practice" and that means he has 3 more days to get better.

Not to add to the Wanny Bashing, but why wasn't this foreseen when we re-signed him? Its not like it wasn't predictible. We could have used the money to go after a healthy O lineman.

Because the hope was that he would be moving back to guard and compete for a job.....as we were chasing LTs. Plus his contract is pretty cheap. It's not as if we were pinning our hopes on him. Dixon re-signed at the very beginning of free agency.
