I believe the trading deadline is Oct 20th...so without going into who or what player the Dolphins could go after...just a simple question...do they trade or stand pat?

I believe they stand pat...unless a player they really covet comes available....the FO loves their draft picks....and so do I.

Do we really have anyone worth trading besides maybe Bess? I'm not sure they are willing to give up a draft pick with a 1-3 record.

I say yes.

Picks or picks + player for player if we beat the Jets.

Player for picks if we lose.

I doubt we do anything as well. However, this Matt Roth thing still has me scratching my head. I just do not think he was injured to the point that he could not participate in any of our training camp and be placed on PUP. I just wonder with all the **** that has happended and him being in a contract year, we shop him around.

For the right price, I'd be calling my son-in-law about Bowe.

I would say no, only because it is very rare that you see midseason trades in football. It is not so easy to make trades midseason in football with the salary cap and having to learn the playbook. Usually the team trading the player away makes out the best on these kind of trades.

This is true. Best example was Dallas with Roy Williams last year. They gave up a king's ransom midseason and he was pretty much ineffective the whole rest of the season.

If the Dolphins want to make a move for Brandon Marshall, or Anquan Boldin, then do it in the offseason.

Yup and didn't the Dolphins trade Chambers for a 2nd midseason? That was a win for the Dolphins as well. Those are the last two trades midseason that I can remember, both for a WR which has to be the worst position to trade for midseason.

I'd rather have a big TE target to be Henne's relief valve.

I think if we lose we deal Porter. Hopefully a pass-rushing starved playoff-bound team would give up a 2nd for him.

If we win I'm expecting trade talks for Bowe to heat up just a little bit. Whether a deal gets done is another question but I'm sure the FO will look into it. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense for KC, but I'm not familiar with their receiving corps and whether there are any other issues with Bowe.
