Do undrafted IR players get paid?

I was watching Hard Knocks and saw what happened to Larry Black. So I know he probably got about a $5000 signing bonus, and was then paid $155 per day for OTA's and then $850 per week for training camp but then he got hurt and was first put on waivers and then put on IR for the year. So my question is does he get paid while on IR? And does that money count against the Bengals cap?

They get a settlement, like a lump sum. And it does go against the cap.
