With Hartline and Gibson waived?

What two college receivers would you target?

I would take the best WR on the board out of Cooper, White, Parker or DGB.

Then take another WR in the 3rd or 4th round....I like Tony Lippett of Michigan State as a mid-rounder.

This is going to turn into another DGB thread...smh...I'm not going there again.

I've been stating we should be drafting 2 WRs anyways, with Wallace staying or going.... once again it really matters how the WRs are going off the board, but there are many chances for us to get a speed guy as well as solid talent throughout rounds 2-5/6.

i'd look rounds 3/4 a little more, but there are names like Hardy, Dorsett, Lockett, McBride (Austin Hill maybe) i like a lot too keep eyes on.... and other names you may here would be Smith, Smelter, Titus Davis, Cook, etc... that have been mentioned around the forum as well. lots of solid ability

once again it matters how hings are falling, if WRs are flying off the boards theres the more higher ranked guys, maybe in the 2nd round, (which i may rather not do) but Parker obviously is mentioned a lot, Strong, Greene, Coates, and Perriman (not sure I would want couple of these guys in 2nd)

As I've said on other threads, Tannehill is good at throwing direct laser beams, but is bad at arcing a deep ball into a fast bucket.

So in order for Tannehill to threaten deep, our outside WRs should be strong catch radius guys who excel at catching a contested low trajectory 40 yd pass while facing the QB. Like a young Larry Fitzgerald.

Kevin White would have been great, but he'll likely be gone early.

There's a good chance that Mike Wallace will be cut/traded.

So I'm going to guess that our skill players will be..

WR: DeVante Parker, Michael Crabtree, Jarvis Landry (slot)
TE: Charles Clay, Dion Sims
RB: Lamar Miller, Damien Williams

It's not an exciting group, but I think the above players would be a good fit, considering how Ryan Tannehill throws the ball.

Amari Cooper/Kevin White/DeVante Parker in the first, and Rashad Greene in the 3rd round

New England seems to do just fine without spending high picks at WR. Why must we?

most teams do quite fine without high picks on WRs.... you tend to see teams struggle more with busts with more high draft picks on WRs..... thats why i like my plan a little more, especially if White and Cooper arent there at 14.... much talents around the 3-4-5 rounds that will be solid to get!!!

Were not putting 2 rookie WRs on the field at the same time.

It's just not gonna happen.

obviously you dont want to do that... you want something for 2015 like: Wallace/Landry/Matthews/rookie/rookie... Matthews and the rookies battle away

We just need to find a Tom Brady in the 7th round and we'll be all set!

Cooper and Kevin White will be long gone by 14 and IMO it'd be a miracle of Parker gets past Minnesota at 11, let alone Cleveland at 12.
We need to get to 10 to get Parker, he could be the next AJ Green and he would fit with Tannehill perfectly. #14 and our 3rd rounder to St Louis should do it. We need Parker.

I wouldn't do that. We have too many needs. I also think Parker would be great, but trading up is a luxury that only teams that are contenders should consider. We need to take the best option at 14. There will be a great player at an area of need at that pick.
