Just gong through one the "enemy" sites, they said we filled our needs pretty well with FA but must look for a better kicker as Andrew Franklin missed 19% of his FGs and 3 PATs.

Needs heading into the NFL Draft

With many needs covered in free agency, the Dolphins still need to improve in some key areas. They still need another starting interior offensive linemen, another starting cornerback and have very little to offer behind Suh at defensive tackle.

Ajayi is entering his second year so despite this being a strong draft class at running back, the Dolphins can hopefully figure something else out as another rookie probably isn't the answer

Also look for them to potentially be interested in a kicker late in the draft after Andrew Franks missed 19 percent of his field goals and three extra points.

Finally, it wouldn't surprise me if Gase's Dolphins invested a high draft pick on a quarterback. There are only two guys we hear about for the top of the first round in Jared Goff and Carson Wentz, but this draft is heavy on high-potential guys who may not be immediately ready to start. Ryan Tannehill isn't the quarterback the Dolphins want him to be and getting a young guy to push him.

Hopefully, never trusted Franks.

Good kicks offs tho

That is a ****ty article btw, didnt even mention our biggest need - cb

Certainly need competition for him in camp . . . not that comfortable with him tbh.

Definitely not a need. There is already a second kicker on the roster that will "push" Franks in camp, if need be, but I doubt he will be replaced after one year.

Not bad, not great either. Neutral on the idea, not a position I'm concerned with. Much better than Sturgis was.

We need one like Aguayo, otherwise no.

It is always about players, the quality of a player, not needs.

i think we hit a home run with punter matt darr, need to see a better sophomore season from franks.

I didn't exactly feel 100% comfortable with Franks kicking but compared to the avg for 2015, Franks is just about on par. He made about 81% of kicks attempted. The league average was about 82%. I don't see it as a need but wouldn't mind competition (which apparently is already on the roster) in hopes of increasing those numbers above the league average.

The source for this information is HERE.

Not positive on the accuracy of this site but the topic inspired me to do some quick research.

Before the OP questions our kicker's ability he might learn how to spell his name

81% on FG was way better than sturgis 72%. Franks looked good - just wasn't tested in big moments yet.

Bring in a undrafted rookie free agent for camp competition
