I am not one to normally call for a coach to be replaced. Our special teams seem to be a very big weakness for us. This thought was more or less validated when i witnessed another run back against our special teams last night. So what makes this guy so special that, after such a glaring weakness our special teams has been, he doesn't get considered for replacement?
Thoughts?

I think they are just one scary gaze from Bill Parcells away from being the best special teams in the NFL.

I'll reserve my opinion until the guy is given the chance to coach guys who will be members of the team.

I was hoping something would change during this season...but it appears we have the same crappy ST play as last year. What is worse is that we now already have the players (Kershaw and Walden) which were added last year who help to improved them a little. What's next? A new coach...

Ever since we lost Mike Westhoff our special teams have been mediocre.

We should have kept him at all costs.

It’s one thing if it’s shoddy whiffed tackles, but you see seams through our guys and they are out of position. The scheme seems to be inferior, and I don’t think it’s the high definition. The coach will lose all respect if he doesn’t man up and take responsibility if that’s where the problem lies. Remember Keith Armstrong? Same special teams results- outta here. Bonawillgo.

I have been saying the same thing for a long tie now and the same goes for our pathethic oline too. Paul Bordeuax was a good oline coach and we relaced him with Tony Wise , well that wasnt wise on dave's part.

All evaluations are thrown out the window until the Falcons game and even then the offensive production is thrown out until they face a real defense.

There have now been THREE offensive coorndinators fired in the final week before the season. Once again, If THREE offensive coordinators can be fired that close to the start of the season, I see no reason why a special teams coach can't be. This is going on now 2 years of flat-out unacceptable special teams performance with no improvement in sight. So yes- I want Bonamego outta here, and the sooner the better.
