He's a stop gap for Turner's eventual start. At the end of the season the O line will consist of Albert, Turner (or Thomas), Pouncey, Thomas (or Turner), James. Resign Pouncey and BAM you have got your starting locked up line-up for years to come. On a side note: O-line almost never go 100% in camp do to the risk of injury. D-Line always has the upper hand.
