I haven't seen this asked here yet. We went into the season with Heath Evans, and we all know how that's worked out. Now we have Morris/Barnes. Morris is a good backup RB, but FB? On the open market, Fred Beasley, is available next season? Any ideas?

hum... I don't think this is a priority at all...We can easily use 2 RB sets with R&R..
Morris is a pretty good back, and his natural position is FB, where he may be now. Our backup FB would almost never see the field

Would you consider a better blocking FB for R&R?

I would mix it up..
ronnie can block very well..it's not a priority, though of course if we can bring on a cheap good blocker FB would be good..this is one of the last needs on the team
even morris is having very limited playing time

I Like The Tenacity That Barnes Plays With...hes Always Fired Up THOUGH HE IS SMALL

He's 6'2" 240lbs. Hardly small.

the best run blocking fullback in the NFL will be a free agent

Lorenzo neil

an absolute monster blocker, if we get him it upgrades the FB position so much and provides Ronnie with a monster lead blocker

We really dont need a FB. With linehans system we need an H-back.

With that said i am satisfied with barnes's blocking...

he signed a contract extension

DB is a good pal, and I want him to be here for a while. I don't know why he's not getting any love, maybe because you guys don't pay attention to the full back role, but he's a big part of our rushing attack. It's hard to knock a fullback who blocks for two backs with averages over 4 yards a carry. Sammy Morris is no longer a fullback, he's not a lead blocker type.

Last night on NFL network they said he was gonna be a free agent

either way my mistake

No way he leaves LT.

I think we have a good FB in Barnes. If we were gonna change, I would want a TE-FB. Ronnie and Ricky in the same backfield is enough.....
