What will be the QB depth chart if Pennington is signed?

So if jets release Pennington.. Do we go after him...
 
We can only hope. Then maybe the shoe can be on the other foot and noodle arm can convert 3rd and 4th and medium EVERYTIME in the CLUTCH FOR US VS THE JETS instead of the other way around!!!!
 
He is a Parcells guy--drafted by Parcells. Can't be more of his guy than that. He should fit his system.
 
the parcells connection is there. i wouldn't be surprised if he's released which it looks like he'll have to be to clear cap space for favre in new york if he ends up in miami.
 
Noodle arm could come in as a Back Up and knowing how Parcells loves his Players. The dolphins will be giving a look at Pennington. The Patriots could also pick him up right away to become Brady's Backup and share some light on the Jets playbook. We could bring him to compete with McCown, Henne and Beck and to mentor the young guys. One thing is for sure if Pennington comes in one of our recent QB's is gone.
 
I remember a thread months ago about the possibility that Pennington would be available and I was in the minority of posts that thought it would be a good idea. That being said, who would go? The only options would be to trade Beck or to cut McCown. I can't imagine to much value for McCown, maybe I am wrong, so I figure he would be cut. Or you could trade Beck, but what is his value? 4th round?
 
Look I hate Pennington and personally can't stand him, but noodle arm beat us alot and he could help now. Plus he has been dying to get out of NY for years after giving him such a hard time. If our QBs struggle come Satruday especially McCown & Beck, Noodle arm will broughht in.
