Are we still at the top of the waiver list or does that change as our record changes? With some amazing claims possibly coming up soon as a result of Al Davis being an r-tard, this would be very helpful. (Also, maybe there wasn't anything wrong with Quentin Moses for him to be waived last year in light of recent events).

No one is claiming anyone Oakland cuts. Hall I don't believe would even be eligible for waivers.....even if he was no one would take on his contract.

It's Huff that I would be after if he is indeed cut.

question.. would you take jamarcus russel over chad henne?
NO!NO!NO! have you seen how he is playing plus Im a guy that bleives rookies shoudnt be pay as much as he is being paid. He sucks and his contract sucks even more. We're good with henne.

and pick up another #1 overall pick contract? i'd be inclined to do that if Russell played like Matt Ryan. alas, all Russell has to offer at this point is a 6-6 frame and a cannon arm that seriously lacks accuracy.

The way I understood it is that if someone picks him up off of waivers, they assume his contract; if he clears waivers, then he's essentially a free agent (not sure if one still has to assume his contract or not) but I'd imagine he'd be free to choose his team and negotiate a deal. I may be wrong on this point.

you're right. once any player clears waivers, you don't have to pick up his contract anymore.

thats the raiders 70 million dollar mess up , as for d, hall we sure could use him hes got 3 ints already this season and a decent amount of tackles
