We need to keep our style for the next decade, and we won't have Zach Thomas.

We have to draft Buster Davis to be our Middle Linebacker for the next 10 years.

I don't know if he's got any injury problems, but I know he's a hawk.

I don't think Patrick Willis will slip out of the top 10, and anyway, I don't know if he's a ML.

I know Buster Davis is, and I can't imagine what 2 or 3 years with Zach would do to him.

crowder will be our MLB once zachs gone. we need pure Outside rushers for linebackers. we have our future MLB already.

i think drafting a guy like earl everrett would be a very wise pick in the 2nd if we can. (im not a flordia fan, the crowder and everrett thing is just coincidence.) but right now, we only need one outside man at the moment until zach retires. then we'll need a new guy for the outside spot.

im hauge fsu fan buster can mostlikly play any of the lb positons he does not have a history of injurys and play like a mad man on every play

Buster Davis is the smartest LB to play under Mickey Andrews and thats a direct quote from Mickey. That said we have Crowder, and Buster is better suited to play MLB. Then again if we are to truely go to a 3-4 we will have two starting MLB's and pairing Davis with Crowder wouldnt be a bad idea. Would make us stout at the MLB position, the only thing I question about Buster playing MLB in a 3-4 is his size.

Willis is a MLB in a 4-3 that has played in a 4-2-5 but has the speed and size to play any position in any system as quoted by scouts.

I beg to differ, Buster is an ILB who has the ability to play some OLB.

At 5'10" (But listed at a very generous 6') will not play OLB in the NFL. He will get ripped by TEs all over the league. Check out how Zach gets burned in the flats when he covers. Zach is a good cover guy in his circle, but otherwise gets beat more often in the flats or deep over the middle.

Not against Crowder going MLB in the future, but IF Miami were to choose Willis, Miami would have a helluva decision as to whom put in the middle. Either way, Willis is athletic enough to play any position.

Hence the reason I said he was an ILB with the ability to play SOME OLB.

I totally quoted the wrong person. I meant to quote s3an8. Regardless, I highly doubt anyone would put him at OLB in the NFL unless out of desparity. He may have played a little in college, but as we all know, the NFL is an entirely different ballgame.
