With every signing there is a meesage board fool of negativity and skepticism about what our front office is doing. There was a major uproar about the lack of activity which our front office particpated in. You guys seem to forget the big picture and the plan. Bills Parcells didn't come here to build a team to win the Super-Bowl in 2009, he came here to build a franchise which will be succesful for years to come. Parcells inherited a 1-15 football team that was full of over the hill veterans and people who have no business playing on Sundays. Parcells grought in his guys in Jeff Ireland and Tony Sparano because they share the same idealities. In his intital press conference Parcells stated the importance of building a complete 53 man roster to be succesful in this league.

Not every player we sign is going to be the next Dan Marino, Barry Sanders, or Jerry Rice and what has Bill Parcells done to lose our trust? The only bad move which I have seen was the Ernest Wilford signing. But how can a man who turned a 1-15 team into AFC East Division Champions receive any criticism or doubt? The draft that Parcells and Ireland put together was absolutly phenomenal. First, we took Jake Long with the #1 pick which gave us a Left tackle we lacked since Richmond Webb left Miami and not to mention Jake Long played in Hawaii in his rookie year. Round two saw us get Phil Merling who is going to be the best player from this draft class and Chad Henne, our Quarterback in 2010 and way beyond. Kendall Langford in Round 3 was a steal because this guy is certainly a first round talent. Shawn Murphy in Round 4 was a bit of a reach for a project. BUT Shawn Murphy was just a rookie and has been working hard in the weight room and all NFL Draft experts picked Shawn Murphy as a top 5 Guard in the draft class. Donald Thomas was the best guard in this draft and fell due to his inexperience. He was a starter until get hot injured and the guy plays with a physicality that is unmatchable.

My question is what signing was bad this free agency period? We started but upgrading ovver Renaldo Hill and locking up Gibril Wilson. I remeber after the Giants won the Super-Bowl these same message boards were sweating Gibril Wilson. This guy is a Pro-Bowl level talent at Free Safety. The Dolphins also kept their own stars in Vernon Carey, Channing Crowder, and Yeremiah Bell. The Dolphins signed Joe Berger for depth at Guard and Center and this guy is much better than Andy Allemen, Ikechuku Ndukwe, or Brandon Frye. The Dolphins signed Jake Grove to a lucrative deal and to many of your disbeliefs, Grove is a better Center than Samson Satele. Jake Grove is the excapt recipe to complete the youngest and soon to be dominant Offensive Line that we have built. Long-Smiley-Grove-Thomas-Carey w/ Satele, Berger backing up. Wow! Simply phenomenal. Grove is vocal leader and this dude is just mean. Eric Green was siigned andd everyone was upset we didn't get the likes of Leigh Boddon. Boddon was chased out of Cleveland and Detroit so he must not be that spectacular. Eric Green is a solid football player and while he is not Nnamdi Asomugha, he will be a guy who will provide solid play in Nickel and Dime Situations. Ken Lucas is out there and we still have the draft so keep the panties unbunched for now. Right now we have Will Allen, Nate Jones, Eric Green, and Jason Allen on the roster. If we sign Ken Lucas and draf a corner than Jason Allen is on the outs. I like Allen and think we should give him a chance before we toss him in front of the bus because this guy has made plays for us whenever given the chance.

Sorry if I come off like a !@#$ but I am just tired of the criticism to our football team because they are a better team on March 13th than they were when the Ravens owned them in the Wild-Card game.

I become a miami dolphin back in 1985 when i was born lol ! i don't understand why people hate bandwagon fans ? i mean anyone who buys my favorite team's merchandise and supports the teams i love , is ok with me !

i don't think we have had a bad free agency , no big names like rey lewis or albert hansworth but i think we were successful in making our team just that bit better ! like i said w/e the dolphins do i support !

and i dunno i don't think the ravens owned us in that Wild-Card game , I think we owned ourselves by turning the ball over multiple times

I believe part of the problem is people tend to react instead of think. Player X gets let go and he plays a position that the fan thinks we need to improve so therefore signing player X would be a great move and when it doesn't happen something is wrong with the FO. Maybe the FO doesn't like certain things about this player, or maybe they don't believe we need to improve in a certain area, maybe they have another plan in mind. How many fans new we were looking hard at Cam Wake before it came out that we signed him? These guys are looking every where for anyone that can help this team for the system they use.

When the Bills sign TO then we heard from fans that now we're screwed because we have no CB to cover him, yet it doesn't matter to them that T.Edwards has struggled against good competion and stunk on the road. It doesn't matter that their oline still isn't very good, it doesn't matter that their defense is just good but nothing real special and most important they don't look at we get good coverage due to our pass rush not who's starting at CB.

The Jets sign Leonard and Scott and some how their poised to make a run with no QB, remember all those years we had a top 3 defense and no QB!!!! The fact that Leonard had to come off the bench because of an injury and walked on to the 2nd best defense in all of football might have something to do with his success don't you think (sounds like the same cries for McFadden who never started before, he only started the last 8 games this past year due to injury). Fans wanted us to give Scott a ton of money when he had Lewis, Suggs, Nagata and Reed as his supporting cast yet Crowder sucks because he makes some tackles down field with Porter and Fergy as his supporting cast, that doesn't make alot of sense to me.

NE does no wrong on this site which amazes me, if they sign a player then we were dumb not to offer that player more!!!! People they have already what BP/JI are trying to get us and that's a core of great players that allow you to plug in anyone around them to succeed. We are getting there but we need a couple more draft's, but that's not good enough for some people.

BP/JI will never get every FA right or every draft pick right but as long as they get a couple of each every year then we're gonna be one of the top teams very soon. NE gets a bunch of FA's wrong every year but they don't normally pay them much so you never really hear about it, sounds like what happens around here doesn't it.

As far as I'm concerned we're the some of the luckiest fans in the NFL to be where we are and have such a great future coming sooner then later. Keep it going FO!!!!

As far as I'm concerned BP doesn't get enough credit, there are 20 other teams that hardly ever get a chance to consistantly be good year in and year out. We're getting there again and as long as the people all ariund this franchise get on board we will stay here even when BP leaves.

I think Mizfit said it best in another post,

"Why else do you come on here? Finheaven was created for dolphin fans to gather and talk passionately about their favorite team. if you don't like it then why are you here?"

Bleed aqua and orange since 1980, nice post here is hoping your mock draft coming true first three picks would be phenomenal.

I am the same as all of you. I just do not see how our front office warrants any criticism or questioning consider they inherited one of the worst teams' ever and turned them into division champions in one year

I really haven't seen much criticism on this board. Maybe I'm reading the wrong posts. While I do see a lot of "Sign this guy" posts, I don't see many people calling out our front office because we didn't get him. I think an overwhelming majority of posters here know our FO is doing the right thing.

Everyone jumps on the bandwagon at some point, how else do you start rooting for a team. To be fair enough, I rarely followed football before 2008 but then I was fortunate to watch Miami whoop the pats butts last year. My first reaction after the first wildcat play was "WOW THAT LOOKED FUN!". After the second wildcat play "WOW THIS TEAM IS FUN TO WATCH!" and so began my mancrush on the dolphins team, which i wholeheartedly BELIEVED could reach the playoffs during the entire season.

The thing about bandwagon fans is that their also fair weather fans, the minute the team does bad they jump ship.

And thats my only complain against bandwagon fans, true fans stay through thick and thin.
