...because it feels like everyone has their first-round pick signed?

well, if only the 14, 15, and 17 picks would just sign so allen will get his way, or the 'fins get thier way, and we can talk about something else.

seriously, we all have way too much time on our hands.

17 signed already but he got a 5 year contract because it was prohibited to make it 6 so 17 really doesnt matter, Huff who was picked a lot earlier signed for 5 so I guess the Allen beats the FO on this one...

allen will sign eventually, he should still be in training camp
if only football players didnt have to be so greedy and just play out of love for the game

Allens dislocated hip could even lead to paralysis if he gets hurt again, he may not even go to the toilet by his own again, so yes he does well seaking for the best deal available...

Oh by the way I guess its his love to the game what makes him fear not being able to play again...

I think the fins will eventually have to settle, #13, and #17? both signed to 5 year deals today, well, everyone today has signed five year deals.

His hip has healed from what I've heard. I just hope he signs.

Yes I feel very alone. In fact I sleep huddled over in the corner of my kitchen listening to sad Phil Collins songs.....so very alone.

everyone is over reacting i think allen signs tommorrow i gurantee it

The question may be, "Are the unsigned players feeling alone?".
Its bad enough having to hold out, but I doubt few want to be among those who make the Monday morning headlines, and particularly this year's.

Seems to me its in the clubs best interest's to get the player's anxiety prompting the agent to get the deal done.
Otoh Huizenga has already shown the cards, so as long as their terms to the deal are in the ballpark, agents could be pressing the deadline, simply to see if the club caves in under the pressure.

this isnt HS football, they need to make a living and provide for their families. they are not with them for almost all of the year. you would do the same
