With the recent workouts of Smoker and Rutherford, do you think that Feeley may be getting traded before the deadline? I know we bring in guys all the time to work out but 2 QB's at the same time?

If we could get some extra footballs for Feeley I believe we would take them..

Say what you will about AJ, but someone would probably want him. NOT for nearly what we paid for him. But I could see someone offering a 6th or 7th.

If we could even afford an extra cheerleader by getting rid of him, I'd be okay with it.

Saban said he would bring in allot of players to workout for the organization. He said it didn't mean he was unhappy with the current roster, but he wanted to have a list of possible replacements if something did happen to a player that is currently on the team.

And after what happended in the AFC East in terms of injuries this week. I am all for it.

So no I don't think he is on the trading block, but he is on the chopping block after this season :)

Interesting, I hadn't thouht of that...He could be, I'm sure that he is done here in Miami and if he is traded, I would bet that there was more than his poor play that got him demoted to 3rd string...JMHO....

On the flip side of that, I just down know what we could get for him...but the Jests are desperate...LOL

I think if anyone offered anything for feeley we takei it and run, he is as good as gone at the end of the season.

Finally, someone else gets it. Just because Nick brings people in to evaluate, everyone starts on the "so and so's history" stuff. It's very hard to bring in a new player during the season and expect them to be able to get up to speed. When you're talking 3rd string backups, the talent levels are pretty comparable (or at least unknown) so the incumbent has an advantage just from the reps he's gotten and the exposure to the system/coaches/etc. Nick's just window shopping to be prepared for future contingincies. Pretty smart.

Now the flip side of that is if you have an attitude problem and you feel that with relatively equal talent levels you might as well get rid of a locker room cancer. Say a previous starter who has been demoted to 3rd string?

YES. I can't see why not really, afterall he's now our 3rd stringer. I highly doubt anyone would want to give up anything for him, but I'm sure Saban / Mueller have let the word out by now that he's available....

PHINZ RULE!!!
