will help fill the stands with season ticket holders? How important is he really to the internal structure of this franchise? In my opinion, fans didn't attend as many games since Marino retired, so does Brees help that by signing with Miami?

He's certainly part of the whole package. Miami casual-fans have been pretty off interests since Marino left, really due to the lack of 'faces' on our team. Ricky helped with that marketing edge, and the new era of Nick Saban has certainly helped but Brees will help us too. I think the real deal though will be Ronnie Brown if he can get some big seasons under him belt. I see Brees and Brown being potentially as dangerous as Brees and Tomlinson from a competitive and marketing standpoint if they can work cohesively and effectively with each other.

Well he could not hurt anyhting. PPL will flock to see the Dolphins at the start of the year and by the first couple of games you will see if there will be fans or not. Fans want a winner no matter where you are and winning puts the fans in the seat not the players. If we had a team full have no ones and went to playoffs ppl would still come to see us. However it will help sell Jerseys and other merchandise. PPL do wanna see stars however winning is more important.

The only way to attract fair-weather fans like that is by winning. As long as Saban does that, people will jump on the :bandwagon, whether they have Brees or not (although it would appear they'd more likely win with him than without him).

I'm sure the simple fact that Miami fans have been joansin for a franchise QB since Marino retired will put extra butts in their seats. No doubt about it!
