Do you think John Beck will learn from Trent Green?

That's a rhetorical question. Come on! :D

Green said it himself in the press conference that the way Beck is going to pick up on the stuff is by watching him how he carries himself on the field, calls the plays, etc.

So yeah...I think Beck has someone to learn from.

Of course he is! I believe that is 90% of the reason Cam wanted Green here so badly. Green is not a long term solution and Green is a very bright QB. I think Green is an excellent QB to groom Beck. It looks like Cam got both of the QB's he wanted. Let's just hope he's right now!

yea i think he will and i think john beck will lead this franchise in a couple of years

Hummmm. Let me think about that one... YEAH!

If he's smart Beck will learn from any QB that he's around at practice. Green is an experience pro who has above average ability and decision making so this should be good for beck. Hopefully Green will talk to him and try to bring him along.

Beck is a gym rat, and the kid is gonna want to pick Green's brain for knowledge. You guys talk crap about Green, but do you know Green has an all-time passer rating higher the Dan the Man....

I have yet to watch Green's presser, so he might've given the indication that he would help groom Beck. But I do remember in an interview a little while back with NFLN (I think?), Green was asked if he would help "groom" Brodie Croyle, and his answer was something like this; but not verbatim: "I will not volunteer information [to Croyle] because I feel that I still have a few years left to start. But if he were to ask me a question, I would not steer him in the wrong direction, but I am not just going to help him out...." Again, not verbatim, but Green emphasized that he would not voluntarily help out Croyle. Will it be the situation here in Miami between him and Beck? Who knows, but it worried me a bit knowing that Green would be coming here......

That is pretty much what he said at his conference today. He said he is here to play and win..... That the best way for Beck to learn is to watch how he leads, calls plays, studies film, but we have a coach and QB coach to teach him. He did say he would always answer any questions Beck has and be honest with him.

I don't think you can become a starting NFL QB without being competitive and confident by nature. I don't know if I would want one who isn't.

Even Joey H. was proud of himself and seemed like he was the MVP in his interviews because he didn't throw any int last game or whatever. He might not of thrown any TDs either, but they always think they still have it.
