Do You think Parcells stays to fix this mess or bails and plays golf forever?

I really don't know what parcells does to fix anything. Sure he is there in the War room on draft day but what exactly does he do? If he was ANY kind throwback to his former self, he would have been in that locker room absolutely chewing this team out. However, maybe he gives TS too much leeway and TS isn't responding. It is difficult to say and he has to be careful because the media would love to report that BP is the guy in Miami and TS is just a cover up. You have to let TS have the team and watch in the shadows. I just don't know if TS is what BP would have envisioned at this point. Too many games this season that our guys appear to not have been ready.

He looked pretty calm during the game. Either he knows we're still a very bad team, or he's happy with the product on the field and feels he's fulfilled his contract. If the latter, he bails to the Redskins.

Why would he go to Washington? And why is our team a very bad team?

Parcells likely will be back next season, because it is obvious his work is not done in Miami.

Miami is not a bad team and neither are they a "mess", but they do miss some playmakers on both sides of the ball. This team was 1-15 just two seasons ago, so it is obvious it would take some time to build an elite team. They have indeed injected talent into this team, but they are still lacking a game changing receiver and a dominate inside linebacker.

When new regimes take over BAD teams like they did in 2007, three years is usually the time length preached. I think another good offseason could finally push this team over the top.

maybe both.. I mean, how can anyone not think we are a bad team? We are a very bad team

Why start over? He's in the heart of the matter here with another draft to play with. From al reports I have read he loves the Miami lifestyle and is getting paid all the money he'll ever need. He isn't young anymore. I say he stays in Miami another year and gets us the final kay pieces at WR, LB, and S.

We're not a very bad team, we're mediocre with a lot of upside who are very young and overcame a lot (A LOT) of key injuries to stay in the playoff hunt all the way to Week 17. If you think we're a "very bad team" then you are not paying attention.

Frankly I would welcome Parcell's bailing. I think the game has passed him by, he has gone for the diamond in the rough at way to many positions. This team is starting to mirror the results he got in Dallas and NYJ. Even really New England, once the free agency/salary cap era began.

Well put. They've only had 2 off-seasons to bolster the roster with talent. Our expectations were overly raised when we had an easy schedule last year and went 11-5 (still a fantastic season), but 8-8 is not a total failure of a season... it's called another step forward to building a championship caliber team.

Who gives a flying **** if Parcells stays? What exactly has he done for this franchise besides bring his big media fluffed name? Jimmy Johnson brought his name to Miami, I don't think that went so well.

He bought us Pat White in the 2nd round, now there's an impact player.

Division title in 2008, first trip to the playoffs in seven years, 18 wins in his first two seasons(after 7 wins the previous two years),

Parcells has made this team competitive and a reason why this team was playing a meaningful game in the last week of December. Wake up.

You guys are ridiculous. We're in year 2 of rebuilding with stop and gap players. We're not playing Oakland, KC, ect. anymore. We had so many injuries this year and it was Henne's first year. 8-8 is not great, but having a .500 season is great to build upon. A lot of our rookie players really manned up this season.

This is silly. We have a lot of promising youth on this team and a o-line that will be even more dominant next week. More importantly we have the start of a QB with a future here in Miami, as well as two young corners who will should be quite good next year. O-line, QB, CB, three position Parcells has set us up with for the next 5+ years.
