I just wanted to see a percentage on this one. I know I am defintley in the minority. If you would do so, please explain why you chose your vote.

gonna be a hard one to make the playoffs given the crappy playoff structure and also losing 2 AFC games already. Had these been NFC loses..maybe. We need to run off like 6-8 games in a row to have a chance..

Realistically, I think we handle Tennessee & Houston without question.

The real test is that game @ NE. If we can somehow pull that one out, then at that point, we should be at the top of the division at 3-2. Otherwise, we're forced to beat the Jets & Packers to go 4-3 by the bye, which is a disappointment, IMO. After the bye, our schedule is actually pretty tough.

We really need to use these next two games to build up some serious confidence & momentum, because NE will be our toughest game before the bye, and right now.. they look, ehh, "decent" - but they are finding ways to win, which is the most important quality.

I'm not tryna think ahead though; one game at a time.. play now, panic or celebrate later.

hmm where would u get that from???? from our performance today? wow thats pretty amazing that you would think that.. i think the game should be a no line even money across the board and then maybe i might take the fins?

he's right...realistacally we should beat them. If we play like we did today we will be 0-16 like Booker said. I think we should take it one game at a time...and game 1 is against the Titans.

Probably from the fact that we played two of the best D's in the league already?

Tennessee & Houston are bottom 3-5 teams in the NFL. Sorry, but while we are truly struggling right now.. we're not that bad. Even crybaby Joey Harrington could have a field day against those teams.

The sky hasn't fallen yet, so stop acting like it.....

Given the way the playoff structure is and our teams propensity to implode at the worst times...yes. You basically can lose 6 games at worst to make the playoffs given the current status of the AFC. Now denver and KC are not looking that great which bodes well for us.

well I don't think we need to be 8-2 though. 8-2 is a hell of a record no matter what conference you are playing in.

I don't know about that one, because if you win your division then you're in.

Right now, I wouldn't be surprised if the winner of the AFC East is 9-7. I mean, no one has been overly impressive at all so far. I could easily see New England finishing anywhere between 8-8 & 11-5. I could see Miami & Buffalo in that category as well, and the Jets look like a fluke right now.. I still see them under .500, but maybe not as bad as I originally predicted. At some point, their non-existant running game will collapse.

8-2 is a record that should have you as one of the two front runners for a first round bye in the playoffs. 7-3 may have you on top of your division, and 6-4 should keep you in the race, if not on top of your division if there isn't a clear cut favorite who is running away with it. 8-2 is a blessing, lol, really...

This year? Probably not, but it isn't impossible.

I don't see us dethroning the Pats this time around, but then they've got their own issues. Wildcard is gonna be tough with two losses in conference already...time for a hot streak!
