Seeing Jason Taylor make it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, it makes me wonder if Cam will make it also. Jason Taylor said that Cam is a better pass rusher than he ever was. Most would agree though that Jason was definitely a more complete player, and finished with great statistics. Cam on the other hand, may not have the statistics to make it in.

Yeah don't think cam has the stats or longevity to make it in but never say never if he can keep beating Father Time if anyone can do it it's him he's a work horse

Yeah I don't think there's a chance in hell wake gets nominated let alone voted in. No offense.

I don't think he'll get in, but if he miraculously plays another 5 years and puts up 10+ sacks each year, then he'll have a chance.

Feel free to call it Bias but I think he goes. Not first ballot but he makes it eventually. Its becoming more and more open to the likes of Jason Taylor and I think Cam has proved and put up the numbers to make it and I think his character gets him there. He has two years (est) to pad the stats and I think he makes it.

Idk , win us a Super Bowl and his chances get better

The keys for Cameron Wake to get in the HOF, is if he can get to 100 sacks (hes 18.5 away) ... have two more Pro Bowl Years (that would give him 7 in 10 years) ... and get selected to the 2010s All-Decade Team (which I think he will). If he can do those things, he'll at the very least be in the conversation.

If he get's over 100 sacks and we win a Superbowl while he's having another great season he has a real shot. Otherwise no chance in hell.

I agree that one of the key factors in him getting in the hall is registering that 100th sack. If he can manage it in the next two years, with the team having some playoff success, then he should be considered eventually

No, wont have played enough years to get his numbers up

I think he will, but largely because of his work in the CFL, as well as the NFL. It's the pro football HoF, not the NFL HoF.

I'll agree with this but I think he also needs a DPOY award unless we start making the playoffs and going deep every year that he's around

Ozzy rules!!

You're probably right but you never know. I was a little surprised J.T got in especially first ballot. Wake is a better pass rusher than J.T ever was, J.T just played in the league longer and is a much larger man which allowed him to make jaw dropping plays Wake can not. J.T never had 39.5 sacks in 2 seasons in the CFL though, that will help Wake's case a lot, IF he can finish his career strongly.

He could have 5 years left in this league. My buddy is a Steelers fan and was telling me about how James Harrison spends several hundred thousand a year on taking care of his body. He's 38, just had a good year, and signed on for 2 more. I remember reading the same about Wake last year. Multiple massages a week, etc. Anything to be as healthy as possible. He could be easily have more than just a couple years left to earn it.
