call yourself a Dolfan and root for the Pats consistantly? I mean they are our big rival. my dad calls himself a fin fan and rooted HEAVELY for them in the Super Bowls and on a regular basis. :confused: what do you guys think.
 
did you see ozzy in the mon game lol! the worst thing about it was he had a Pats jersey on.
 
I like the Pats but I can't root for them consistently because they're in our division. So I guess my answer to that is no.
 
To answer your first post, no dont think you can. My dad is an Eagles and a Dolphins fan, dont agree with it. Stick with one team or your not really a "true" fan IMO. Same with all sports, not just football.
 
Only time I've ever pulled for the Pats was in the SB against the Panthers.
 
I have a ton of family in the NE area and they love the Pats so if we arent playing them I hope they win. I can't say I like them, Im tired of hearing about them but you have to give them credit, they are in the midst of a great run.
Now the Jest and Bills, I hope they go 0-16, well I guess that isnt possible since both play each other, but 1-15 would be just as nice.
 
I never root for another team... But then again.. there is something to be said about being in the division of the SB champs... no matter who it is.

Every season... there is a team from this division who has a legitimate chance of going to the dance.

I rooted for New England in their first SB, but only because they represented the AFC east.. and if you going to lose... Id rather lose to the Champions,,, than to a team that couldn't finish the job....
But I dont have another team.. I dont have the same intensity.. or love for any other team than Miami.. I would never buy another jearsey... there is no other team for me than my Phins!

I always want every other AFC east teams to be beaten into the ground...but in a nice way......... hahahah!
 
i rooted big time for the pats in the superbowl agianst the rams cause they were the ultimate underdogs but nowadays nothing joys me more(other that a bills and jets loss) than seing the pats struggle... o wait they never do... except for the monday nighter last year lol! but to answer your question i dont mind someone rooting for an nfc team on occasion but im rooting for every afc team to lose on a weekly basis for home field in the playoffs. there is no way to root for them during the regular season. i am a huge peyton fan cause i love the vols so i love seeing him do well but other than that.. no

The Pats are an incredibly smart and resourceful team, moreso than any team I have seen post-glory era Dolphins. I root for them frequently, and admire them constantly. I am getting a bit antsy about the home winning streak record. We need someone to go into Foxboro and knock them off this year or early next. They already took care of our 18 straight wins record, one I never worried would be broken.
 
You can't root for the Pats and be a Fins fan, plain and simple. I know a someone who is a Yankee and Red Sox fan which is even weider. It would be worse rooting for the Jets and Fins.
 
the only time i ever root for a team other than the Dolphins is for obvious reasons... to help out Miami
ex, if the Jets and Dolphins are tied for the lead in the division, and the Pats play the Jets. obviously, I root for the Pats
 
I hate them always have and always will. I like only one team. I wish every team would lose even if they are playing each other. Ok at least a tie. I have watched Pro football for 34 years and at times wanted to give up on the fish. (see the wannstedt years) but I couldn't. It is the ying yang thing. The loses make the wins all the sweeter. I cann't f#ckin stand johhny come lately fans who switch or come out of the closet when the team wins. If I see some a@@ wipe who has a patsy jersey on and never once mentioned until the superbowl years that they were a patsy fan I want punch them in the face. Use to be everyone was a San Francisco fan when they had joe montana. Now you cann't give away a 49er jersey. Closet fans or johhny come lately fans make me sick. I wore my dolphin jersey last year to the superbowl party. A house full of patsy lovers. I'll have my revenge.
