Anyone who wants to jump off the Dolphins bandwagon... go ahead. Jump. Jump right into the Jets camp, that's a popular place. Ginn Jr. is a dynamic player, perhaps picked several spots early, but obviously no one wanted to trade up with Miami, so they took him where they were sure they could get him. And after watching the film, I gotta say Ginn, like Michael Vick, Reggie Bush, Vince Young, et. al., plays the game at a different speed. People talk about his hands and his inexperience as a WR, but every Ohio State game I watched, he felt like the best player on the field. Where as when I watched Brady Quinn I always felt like he was underachieving. He never really did anything that wowed me. So for those lamenting our missed opportunity... if Quinn is so great why is have twelve other GMs not picked him?

The Dolphins were not the only team to pass on Brady Quinn!! Obviously there are more flaws to his game than what was revealed to us through the media. The way it looks Quinn might fall into the 20's or possibly out of the 1st round. One possibility remains. Maybe the Dolphins will still pick Quinn. They might be able to trade up into the first round for him or even into the early part of the second round. If they don't then that tells you some more about Quinn's game. The Dolphins fooled the whole nation into thinking Quinn was their guy!!!

Scratch that thought. Obviously they didn't think enough of Quinn to trade up into the late first round for him. They obviously don't see much difference between Quinn and the second tier group of QBs. I say the Dolphins go QB and Tackle/G or QB and WR in the second round.

I'm with you "krobmay" we have the entire draft ahead of us. Two days and even then theexperts say you need years to truly evaluate a draft. I'll wait and see before I scream the sky is falling.

people quick to judge because its not what they would have done, except the funny thing is, they are working in pro sports for a reason, and we aren't

those GM's have thier money tied up in thier own first round QB's

Take it easy. Wow. How is this guy not censored?

Because it was in response to someone saying "Kill Cam and Mueller" in a day where apparently everyone is so busy lighting themselves on fire and jumping from rooftops to realize that we got a really good pick.

Plus, (and I could be wrong on this, but...) I'm pretty sure that not only is he not going to follow that bit of advice, but he may also realize that it's about as serious as "kill Cam and Mueller".

thats what it is

Where does it say that Quinn is going to be a star? Not saying he wont...just saying that nothing is for sure in the NFL....Cam and Muller know about QB's and they didn't take him.....I trust them...we'll get a QB and who's to say that whoever we take won't be better than Quinn? I loved the Ginn pick as he's gonna help in different areas and we really need a playmaker like that.

Ozzy rules!!

yep, passing on a guy who has "accuracy issues" (only 62% completion percentage) and better than a 5-1 TD/INT ratio (while surrounded by questionable receivers and an awful OL) is definitely the right move :rolleyes2.

sigh, I could've been OK with taking a GOOD WR (Bowe and Meachem were on the board), but taking a guy who isn't a lock to be a good SECOND WR is :shakeno:.

Even if Brady doesn't turn out to be the next Marino, he will be THE GUY for the Browns for at least the next 5 years. They've probably sold out of his jerseys already.

Ted Ginn Jr. puss'd out of the biggest game he'll ever play in because he tweaked an ankle.:( And everyone said Quinn had questionable performance in big games...
