That Michael Vick...is bare none...by far...without a single doubt..THE most Overrated Player in the NFL today?
Im gonna try and throw some stats out.....here goes

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5448/career

Go ahead and read those stats.

Last updated through games completed on Oct 31, 2005

Now his BEST year in the NFL...was 2002 when he threw for 2936 yards 16 TD's and 8 INT's. 18 Quarterbacks threw for more yards that year....20 threw for more TD's......Now i will give his his rushing skills....they are matched by NOBODY....
He goes to the ProBowl in 2004....with these stats...2313 yds. 14 td 12 int sacked career high 46 times with career high 16 fumbles and losing 7 of them. I dont get it MARINO has these stats at he HALFWAY point of a season and Vick goes to ProBowl??.....bottome line is this I suppose...28-13 as a starter.
Coming into our game on sunday....he's averaging 120 per game with 5 td and 6 int...he is averaging 50 yards rushing a game...with 3 tds. QB rating is 63 his career QB rating so far...is 75.
In 7 games so far this year....
Throwing totals....156...123...167...49...112...116....he did not play in one game this year...and that one game they lost without him....to the Pats. Example...last week vs. the Jets...11/26 116 yds 3 ints 0 td's Runs for 18 yds for 2 td...sacked 3 times and fumble 2 times and they win easy 27-14.

Maybe im crazy....but the guy does win...and its obvious its the talent around him at RB with Dunn and Duckett....
This tells me we must make Vick throw to beat us....any thoughts....or am I nuts....which could be possible.

I still say that he's the most exciting player in the NFL.

Exciting at doing what? running around.... That Nike commercial...the one with the Roller Coaster theme to it....THAT was the most Exciting thing I saw Vick do.

he'll sell tickets and jerseys for now but when he turns 32 and can't run he'll be run out of the league

Over-rated? Yes

Exciting? Yes

In my opinion Mike Vick is a RB playing behind the center. He doesn't play the game like a classic QB with all the rushing he does. Sometimes, it seems, he throws the ball as an afterthought. Personally, I wouldn't want him on my team, I like a QB to be a QB.

Easier said than done. We'll see if we're up to shutting down Dunn / Duckett.

I think the biggest stat you should look at is wins. Look how Atlanta does wiht Vick and look how they do without Vick. He doesn't have good stats for throwing but he does win. You can't take that away from him.

2002
8-7-1 with Vick
1-0 without

2003
3-1
2-10

2004
12-3
0-1

2005
5-1
0-1

Total
26-12-1 With Michael Vick
3-12 Without Michael Vick

Pretty much sums it up. From an owner's perspective who is trying to sell his team to the public, Michael Vick is a fabulous asset. Many of Atlanta's fans are only there to see him play. He brings up attendance but as a player, he has a long way to go.

Well Jay Fiedler..won...his starting record at Miami was pretty good....and we couldnt wait till he left...I guarantee he didnt fill the seats at ProPlayer...and his Jersey was probably not in the top 50 of selling EVER. Was Jay Exciting? hardly...but your right....he does win...28-13 as the starter....and I would rat my mom out to the mob for a 5-2 record right now.

You can't really look at it that way because the offense is built around vick. Also when he is out you dont have a first string caliber QB in there.
