we are only going to get better in the off season.

the jets will not have favre
bills find a way to choke all the time
and the pats are the pats we just have to sweep them next year and we could wrap the division title.

how sweet will that be back to back champs

It's very possible considering what the coaching staff did with limited talent in certain areas. After a another good free agency period and draft imagine what kind of damage our boys could do! :) If Brady returns the Patsies could be tough to overtake though...

thats y the jets may actually maybe competitive bc they wont have favre lol. i do think though we will repeat bc we will improve r team through free agency and the draft and fix the holes we had this season.

it's great to have such goals. Last year we would have been happy with 5 wins for a .500 record, now, we're thinking defending AFC East Champs, and has been pointed out, this coaching staff and front office will find through F/A and the draft ways to fill some if still not all holes but sure up this team and inprove the talent and depth. The Bills I think are in a tail spin and that won't change, the Jets have no QB and will have a new coach (then again so did we at this time last season, lol) and well, we'll just have to go mano y mano against the pats. But Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, let's wait and see.

one Game at a time???

5 wins would be 3 short of a .500 record, in a 16 game season.

I think our chances would almost be better if Favre does return.

I just want them to be Super Bowl champs. They can get in the playoffs with an 8-8 record like the Chargers did for all I care.

agreed. The hat was cool and so was the praise, but what I really want is to see our boys raise the Lombardi and get Penny and Long a ring.

Too early to tell IMHO, but I'd bet against it. Realistically, we weren't as good as our record. We still have massive holes in the interior OL, one tackle is a FA, our WR corps consists of one young speedster who can't catch long balls or deep outs because our Qb can't throw them, and our other WR is poor. Only our slot receiver (Camarillo/Bess) is reliable. On defense our LB corps is poor except for Porter and our DB's are iffy once you get past Bell and Will Allen. Our NT is ancient. We really have a lot of holes, and we have several prominent FA's including our RT, SS, and ILB.

I think if we finish 9-7 next year we could very well progress, despite the step backwards record-wise. Let's not heap on unrealistic expectations because we had a phenomenal year. This offseason is going to be key, as we now have two directions to go. Last year we could only go up.

Lets not get started with this. While I do think we will be back in the Playoffs next year. I got into a huge fight with my father in laws brother. He pretty much said it was impossible to get into the playoffs next year with our Schedule. I had to remind him that everone said that this year, the fight got ugly. Good thing my Father in Law was backing me up.
