Does anyone have an Update on the Blackout situation for this week

Exactly, you cant afford to go to the games from OUT OF TOWN (nor can I), I am hardly Mr. Monopoly Man.... what I wrote was for the people down in South Florida. And I was talking about 2 seats, not hundreds... Stay in school so one day you CAN afford to go down there whenever you like to watch our team lol
Yet you were questioning how some people can't afford it. To some people, $30 (plus any food, etc.) per person IS money they cannot spare. That being said, I've never in my life been to an NFL game where I get away with only spending $30, and I lived in Phoenix with the garbage Cardinals (another city of transplants that has the same type of fanbase). If you are going to criticize people for not being able to afford to go, you better be able and willing to pony up the cash to help them.

That being said, when I can afford it, I won't be paying for season tickets and flights for a mediocre or garbage product, unless it's a couple down years in between competing (not like what we have now, which is decades of mediocrity/flat out awful).

Congrats local fans. Looking forward to seeing thousands of empty seats on Sundays, because that is the norm around the league.

Dude, you understand people have bigger priorties to spend money on than going to a dolphin game every week? like paying bills ect... some of us dont have money to spend to go to dolphins games, so we choose the other option which is to pay for cable television and watch it there. Some ppl can afford it, some cant, if we had the money believe me we would be there every game but fact is, we cant so theres not much we can do to help the issue. Even if there was a blackout, u can believe i would be just as happy watching a play by play on nfl.com on the gamecenter. Hey, its live updates so im happy =/.

i'm blind in one eye and have vision issues in the other. i can't see what's happening on the field. i'd love to go support the team.

Frankly, I think that puts you at an advantage to the rest of us!! For sure, in the NE game!!

No he doesn't understand - or simply has no rebuttle. That's why when he's pressed with the question every time he dodges it. "I expect it will be and I have no sympathy for those that won't be able to watch it. " Hilarious.

18 dollar seats are upper corner of stadium you wont be able to see crap with those seats

They aren't that bad I've walked up there a couple times just to see how it looked. It's really not awful, but it doesn't matter because you could likely just go up 20 rows and find an empty spot. I'm sure plenty of people do that. However, if you notice, those are the spots that seem to always be empty. Maybe they are that bad...

I'm a full-time student and can't afford it, not that that "excuse" matters to a few of you. But I am fully accepting of charity! Hey, if you want to hand me those tickets and hook me up with a flight, I'll be more than happy to help fill those stands. I can PM you my info if you like. I prefer aisle seating if possible, but I'm really not picky. Better yet, save the money on my flights and pay for some of the poorer fans in Miami that would love to go to a game but can't fit it into a tight budget. You can fill even more seats that way.

Wow..well..I'm not so sure it has anything to do with being "poor" although the economy is rockin' right now /sarcasm.

I can spend $200-300 dollars to a game (have to take the gf) for a day of misery just to watch Miami lose or spend it elsewhere (or save it) on something better that will last me months (monitor, new video card, I don't know..whatever). I've wasted enough money on this mediocrity. I'm not saying they have to win the division every year..but..let's at least be competetive. When was the last time we have won anything of significance within this organization? Exactly.

lol. unfortunately at home i have a front projector and 120" diagonal screen, so it was all-too-painfully visible.
