Does anyone know how Pat Devlin is doing in training camp? And how are the coaches feeling about him? Havn't heard much news lately.

90 players on the roster is one reason.

Neither O'Connell of Devlin are getting a lot of snaps right now. Henne is getting the bulk of the snaps, Moore is getting 10%-15% of the snaps. They're basically working as if it was the regular season with Henne as the starter.

im thinking they are going to try to really limit devlins snaps in games
the Fo would be worried if devlin goes on a rampage
as they plan to sneak him on to the practice squad..

Yea he is buried on the depth chart but shows about as good as any other QB when he gets his chances. Lets face it any rookie especially FA rookie is going to have it especially hard this year with the short preseason. There is not much time to impress and learn the game like other years especially at QB and the OL line so FA NFL players are going to have a huge edge over the FA college guys this time around. Like a prior poster said maybe we can hide him on the PS or maybe he will the 3rd string guy who does not appear to be playing that well. Last preseason game will tell all.
