I was just wondering if sunday ticket will brodcast the fins game in HD and what channel it will be on.

Yes it is. I believe the channel is either 704-1 or 705-1. If you happen to live in a market where there is no "local" team, or said team is not playing a game at that time, then the game will only be shown on your local network CBS channel, and the Sunday Ticket feed will be blacked out. Either way, it is in HD.

hd game

It will be broadcast on 705. I do not see a HD broadcast. I am looking at the TV right now. 704-1 is pats hd shortcut. 705-1 is eagles shortcut week.

Because it's now the nationally televised game, it will be on your local CBS HD channel.

On the DirecTV website, they are showing every game in the month of September as being broadcast in HD. I'm sure that the addition of the new satellite has helped, but it also appears that CBS is finally transmitting all games in HD.

Make sure you have also subscribed to SuperFan along with Sunday Ticket or you won't get any games in HD (unless it's on your local channels or ESPN).

I am with Shadpop, I don't see the listing for Dolphins-Jets in HD...which is a complete joke. I live in eastern PA and I am getting the Steelers-Texans as the 1pm CBS game.

This is the extremely frustrating part of paying for SuperFan. You dump an extra $100 on DirecTV and get screwed pretty regularly as a Dolphins fan. There were at least 6 Dolphins games last season that were not broadcast in HD.

dude, you just complain and you get superfan for free. I got $300 also credited to my bill. Don't pay extra for stuff.

Check your local CBS affiliate to see if they are airing the game.

DirecTV just needs to refresh their guide data. If you go to channel 600, you can see that the Dolphins are scheduled to be on 705-1 in HD. Expect a few hiccups in week one. A few years ago, I was charged for Sunday Ticket but couldn't watch any games. For some reason, the previous years Sunday Ticket was active on my account (but was expired because of the new season) and wouldn't let me watch any games. It was weird.

Although Sunday Ticket has been around quite a long time, this is the first year that every game will be broadcast in HD and it's all happening on a brand new satellite that they just took possession of from Boeing. It's also the first year that all HD games will be in MPEG4 and while DirecTV has done a lot of work to try and prevent any problems from arising, some are likely to show up.
