I thought he was easily our best FA pickup last year and a complete steal for what we paid for him. He was our best receiving threat during all of last season, and I felt we were locked up at that position for the next 5 yrs or so.

I don't know what the h ell happened to him during the offseason but he has done nothing but fumble and drop key passes all season. Is there any actual reason or excuse anyone can make for him this year? Did his role in the offense change (which still should not change drops or fumbles)? I am just dumbfounded at how bad he has been playing and cannot figure out why.

Anyone else have any ideas? Looks like we now have one more big hole to fill before we become an elite team.

The guy is proving to be a #2 TE and perhaps a good one at that. Miami could use a big threat at TE, though, and it's one thing they haven't had for a very long time.

but when i suggested goin after tony gonzalez i was laughed at

After reading an article that said we were eyeing Jared Cook Jr in the draft, I am now kicking myself as to why we didn't get him.

Losing David Martin really hurt because it really opened up Fasano passing game. Fasano is a run blocker first and pass catching TE 2nd. Same thing for Haynos. Martin was a pass catching TE first and blocker 2nd. So last year when Fasano was in the opposing teams knew this and looked for the run which left Fasano open wide open more often this year that is not happening. Other than that if I am Sporano I would have both Fasano and Haynos living in front of that jugs machine every day.

I really thought I was watching the Browns receivers with how we were dropping balls yesterday! Anyone notice how many times Haynos was on the ground just missing blocks?

After he dropped Ronnie's pass yesterday, I'm surprised Ronnie didn't kick him in the dick til he passed out.

he forgot how to play football apparently. he'll be downgraded to #2 TE or traded if he keeps it up.

I seem to remember David Martin dropping plenty of balls during his time here. That said, Fasano is having an abysmal season. You see what a weapon like Gonzalez and even Shockey (to an extent) means to an offense. We definitely need help there, especially with a young, inexperienced QB.
