Does Anyone Realize?

That if we make the playoffs this year, what will they bash us with?
They dont have the 6 year non playoff skid, they don't have the 1-15 team argument since we are now a playoff team. But we, we can say that not only we are a playoff team, but we are a 3 time Super Bowl Champion, and Danny Boy, Shula, etc., without being bashed about the afforementioned.

This could be a breakthrough for us fans.

But what are the differences between our schedule and our division rivals schedules? Two games, right? That's not enough of an argument

since we went 1-15 we got an easier schedule than NE who went 18-1 who got a harder schedule

Yes, it factors that we play the last place teams from the remaining AFC divisions, while the Pats play the 1st place team.

For example, the additional games we played this year were: 4th of AFC North(Baltimore), and 4th of AFC South(Houston), while the Pats played the 1st place teams of that division.
Both of those additional games against "bad" teams, we lost them, so how strong of an argument is that? While the Pats have probably won at least 1 of them

Have you not noticed we are playing the same teams as everyone else in our division?

Serious, do your homework and wake up to the fact these schedules are predetermined YEARS in advance by a rotation of complete division play against 2 divisions, one NFC and one AFC.

There are only 2 games different from everyone else's schedule in each division. And as Ive said before, drawing Baltimore and Houston wasnt necessarily an advantage. Buffalo got the best draw getting Cinci and Jacksonville. The Pats didnt do so bad either, getting Pittsburgh and Indy. The Jets may have gotten the toughest draw because they got the Titans and Browns.

actually Pats lost to Indy so they did not win atleast one of them, they still have to play Steelers later on.

And if the Dolphins do surprisingly make the SB using the excuse of a week schedule is stupid seeing they will more than likely have to play 3 playoff games in order to get to that lvl anyways. Lame arguement seeing only two games were different out of 16.

I really don't care what the critics say, if we make the post season then it will still be amazing off a 1-15 season a year ago.

If you look at their records from this year though, Baltimore is on top in the AFC North. As far as the Patriots, they played the Colts (who are no longer 1st in the AFC South) and they lost that game I believe.

Just ask the Tampa Bay Rays, were they content on just getting to the Playoffs???? They took full advantage of the situation and headed to the World Series. So why not??

You don't get to the playoffs to be content as a competitor, you get to the playoffs to prove your better than the rest.

If you make the playoffs, the goal is to win the whole thing. Your not a very good team if your content with anything less. Play to win the game.

you guys worry to much about what people think of us. just enjoy the wins we get and enjoy the playoff ride because bottom line is if we get into the playoffs they can say whatever the hell they want but we will still be in the playoffs. this isnt the bcs where they can make arguments on strength of sched and determine who goes where, if we have a good enough record no matter who we play we r in and i will enjoy every second of it no matter what these clowns in the media say.

Dudes, dont bash the poor guy. He just made a statement condradicting what I said, which is what most casual NFL fans would say. The dude is right. Most people would say that. And as I said, we lost the 2 different games that we played. And my bad, I thought we had won 3 super bowls, not 2.

I agree with him that if we get in people will bash us and say we won games because of our schedule. He just mistakingly felt our schedule was based on our record the previous season.
