Looking at the "search" committee do you guys have hope? We seem to do things backwards under Ross, I would not be surprised if he hires a head coach and then a new GM. It's been way too many years of this joke. As a fan I will continue to root for the Dolphins till the day I die but I wont spend another penny on them. What has Tannenbaum done in this league to be the head of this committee? Last I checked all he did was get the Jets in salary cap trouble and as soon as he got the job here he started off right where he left off. I am not trying to be a downer, just a realist. Please shed some light and help me understand why we should have hope.

I don't know how as a fan you don't always have "Hope." Hell isn't that what makes us fans? I'm hoping that Mr.Ross and company having been in this position before have properly ID'd the things they need in a HC and more importantly, understand the importance of having everyone in the FO on the same page.

I'm actually pretty confident and excited to be honest with you that they will put together a quality staff going forward. Fins Up!

My hope is that I'm younger than Ross so I'll out live him. By then, maybe, under new ownership this franchise can get back to being successful.

Do I have hope....yes. Do I have concerns.....you bet.

But I also don't control one bit of this. I'm going to hope for the best and see what happens.

I would prefer to have a different decision making body, but again, that is done so no use worrying about it.

Really? So Cam Cameron wasn't worse? It can most definitely be worse than Philbin.

I'm not sure about that and I haven't been for a while now.

This team in 2015 honestly reminds me a lot in some ways of the 2007 team. I actually think we have more talent now, but much worse coaching. Not even joking.

Our record in division games, not just the wins and losses, but the scores, is absolutely mind-blowing.

Once again some of you are being way too dramatic. Who cares if there is a committee......just get it right with the hire.

Cam Cameron wasn't worse actually. You can disagree, but nothing has been more inept and ruined more seasons than this regime. It's not even close if you ask me.

If you think things can't be worse it is only because you lack imagination.

Philbin was the worst coach in the NFL. Never seen a more unprepared, lethargic team week in and week out. Don't have to agree with me, but as bad as the hire may be it's an upgrade by default.

No. I don't.

What makes us fans is loyalty. Not hope.

One definition of insanity is to continue doing things the same way while expecting different results.

There is always hope with a new chapter but I am not going to let myself be deluded anymore. I'll still be here as the team heads down a different path and of course I will still be enthused for training camp, preseason and of course the 2016 season. My hope will be reserved but my fandom will remain as strong as ever.

We will disagree FTB. I've seen worse coaches in this league than Philbin. Cam Cameron is one, Rich Kotite another, Eric Mangini is awful as well, June Jones was a horrid coach, Romeo Crennell was a terrible coach with the Chiefs, does anyone remember Lou Holtz with the Jets? Bobby Petrino with the Falcons (who quit mid season)? Marty Mornhinweg with the Lions? Oh it could get worse.
